Funky house, gorgeous views, get away from it all
The house was funkier than I appreciated from the photos. I mean that in a good way. It is quirky, kitschy, I don't know how to say it. Off the beaten path, one-lane road to get there. Lots of space for my 5 kids and me and my husband. Get groceries on your way there because you might not want to leave (and it's a 20min drive to civilization). It is exactly what I wanted out of a trip to Coeur D'Alene.
Even though you might not want to leave, definitely go take a day on the lake. Lots of locals will help you find a boat you can take out.
Tiny staircases up and down to bedrooms, would be hard/impossible for elderly or handicapped, but there is one bedroom on the main floor. Owner was great, very helpful. Would definitely come again.
