FAQ: Our house is a Single-story Rancher with a Basement. We have a single zone HVAC system for the entire house. The basement is typically about 5 to 7 degrees cooler then the main floor. This difference is most noticeable when it is hot outside and the AC is running. We have found that setting the thermostat (in the hallway on the main floor) to 70 degrees and running the fan is the best way to keep the two levels as equal as possible though they will still be different temperatures. We are happy to provide any advice we can about this system during your stay.
PARKING: 2 on Driveway, 2 on gravel pad to the right of the driveway, free street parking.
For hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts enjoy the Canfield Mountain Trails that are a 5 minute walk from the house. Lake CDA and Hayden Lake are both just a 10 minute drive offering an enticing place to fish, swim, or lounge on the shore. Foodies will love the endless options for delicious meals available at local CDA restaurants. Dockside, Meltz, Mango Tree, and Fire pizza are some of our favorites but there are options for everyone!

Excellent stay great accommodations! Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
We had multiple families and teens staying for a soccer tournament in the area. The rental was in a great location. Was super clean and loved that it had all the extra things you don't bring with you, shampoo, etc, ziplock bags, etc. Perfect place! Beds were super comfortable as well!
The property is gorgeous and was the perfect size for our group including the beautiful backyard. Hosts were good with communication and check in/out was easy
We needed a safe, clean, comfortable place to stay for one night as we traveled back to Oregon from Montana. This home and it’s amenities were perfect!!
Our college was looking for a place to host a staff retreat and this clean house was the perfect place to host it. The hosts were very friendly and provided us with many amenities like kitchen supplies and some toiletries. The neighborhood is very quiet with lots of families, making it feel safe. The location is close to a place to hike with great views.
Everything was amazing. We were in Idaho for a wedding and had several family members sharing the house. We were all impressed and grateful for the cleanliness and size of the home. It was literally like two separate houses and everyone had plenty of space and privacy as well as common areas to eat and visit. My only suggestion would be to have a few fans to use while sleeping for ppl who like that. Also, a table or two around the living room couch for drinks. Oh, also the beds were very nice quality and comfort.
Thanks so much. This was a great place to stay. Please add a couple spatulas. Amazing visit it friends and family.hot tub was great. One tall glass broke in the dishwasher. There were only 2 pieces and we threw both them away. Thanks for everything.
Our family had plenty of room to spread out with 2 floors plus a kitchen on both floors too. We loved the game room with ping pong, foosball, video game and the gigantic tv. We appreciated the extra folding chairs. Just a few notes that were a bit frustrating was with 6 bedrooms we would have liked a larger dining room table with more chairs. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the heat was inconsistent between the main floor and the basement. The hot tub was also a concern with the large amount of foam. But all in all we had a great time. The property managers were very helpful in a timely manner and we greatly appreciated that.floor and the basementwas not consistent
We came with a large family group of 10 ranging from our elderly mom to a 4 year old. It had a main floor room for mom and she could easily move around with her walker on the floors. And the bunk bed rooms fit the kids. Our trip was for a dear family members funeral. In our grief we all found this home to be welcoming and comfortable. We didnt have to worry about anything everything needed was provided. The hosts were very responsive and the home was squeaky clean. The homes rooms have national park themes which were really fun for the kids. The quiet location is not to far from stores or the freeway and in food delivery parameters. We look forward to staying again for family visits and Silverwood trips. This home was just perfect for us.
The house is well appointed. The photos are accurate. The game room is a garage but it does have games in it. The hosts appear to live on site and though we never saw them it is a littleawkward. The location is good for access to local restaurants and attractions. The air conditioner is not up for the 100 degree days that we experience while we were there. The down stairs was comfortable but the up was tough until the sun went down and we could open some windows. Keeping the doors to the upstairs bedrooms closed during the day helped the recovery some. Leave the ac on when you leave so the next guests don’t struggle. Maybe the air system could us a service to balance the out put. A few fans would help. We showed up about and hour early and surprised the changeover crew. That was on us. We had been told it would not be ready before the designated time. I think the cleaning lady felt harassed. We got a “reminder” that quiet hours began at 10pm when we were in the backyard having conversation and a cigar at 9:45 and were in by 10:00. That seemed a little aggressive but then again the host live on site and have small children. Awkward. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was easy to use and had the equipment needed for cooking in.
House was in a great location with easy access to everything. Perfect layout for our little family reunion with two full kitchens. Owners were super responsive to communications.
Amazing property! Has all the comforts of home! Nice big backyard for kids to run and let off steam and adults to relax around the fire or in the hot tub. One of our favorite things about this amazing property is how it has two of everything. Two kitchens two living rooms etc. This makes it perfect for multi family vacations which we love to do. We have stayed here several times but have also stayed elsewhere when not available and this property is definitely our family’s number one choice!
The house was a piece of art. Perfect for any gathering of friends, family, loved ones. The national park theme gives a warm and welcoming yet adventurous atmosphere. The house was also decorated for fall, very nice touch. The host was very effective and efficient in communicating. They were willing to turn up the hot tub temperature for us upon request. Kitchen had all appliances for cooking homemade meals. Would book again. 10/10.
Very nice property that is centrally located for all the adventures of north Idaho. Very clean and spacious house with the bonus of a hot tub after a long day at Silverwood.
Great Coeur d’Alene house option with plenty of space for multiple family members. Easy access to downtown areas and golf course. Really nice to have the extra kitchen and washer dryer downstairs. Would definitely stay here again.
The property was very clean and the property manager was extremely friendly and helpful. There is so much space for kids to play, and for the adults to have their own space as well. The basement is its own complete 3 bedroom suite with full kitchen and bathroom, which is great for multiple families. Our kids loved the bunk beds and the adults enjoyed the large patio and hot tub. We look forward to booking this property again on our next visit to Coeur d’Alene.
Beautiful home, lots of rooms and space. Very clean. Nice game room. A bit misleading though.
Home is beautiful, clean. Lots of rooms and a game room. Plenty of room. We do feel like the owners should let you know they live onsite. They live in the garage attached to the backyard. The backyard, where the hot tub is located, is attached to their house. This was not something we were informed about when renting, and felt uncomfortable staying. They have windows and a door to everything. Might as well stay at a hotel.
