"The room was very clean and comfortable. However, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator and also an air conditioner since it can get very warm and the ceiling fan alone does not cool the room down. The staff and owners are super friendly and very attentive. We left very early in the morning and the lady working in the kitchen (I believe her name was Gira) offered to prepare us some sandwiches, which super nice of her. One negative was that things do not dry since its super humid outside...

"Really special place next to a fantastic beach and right in the jungle, hummingbirds, howler monkeys, little cute costa rican possums, and then a small herd of dogs and cats. Wonderful hosts really friendly but not in your face, huge communal area with everything you could want, delicious breakfast and all very reasonably priced. "

"The place is ok, a little over rated in my opinion. One has to get out of the car to open gate to get into a small parking space. They woke me up early on Sunday morning to move my car, cause I was the last one in the parking space last night and someone wanted to leave, so I had to get up to move my car. They were very rude about it. So parking is an issue, as it was raining hard and had to get out to open and close gate also."

"This villa type room set up is a nice luxury, with two terraces, huge bath, very hot shower, nice kitchen, in peaceful setting. Great cafes, bakery and grocery all 10 minutes walking. Rent bicycles and chill out. Listen to ocean 24/7. Great value, on Pacific coast this would $285 easy.. Enjoy.."
