"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights! The owner was so thoughtful, helpful and gave us lots of great information. Best buffet breakfast we have had in years. So much variety and everything was so fresh. We also ate one evening at the hotel’s restaurant and enjoyed our meals. Delicious, We would definitely recommend this hotel. Location was also great! Just a 5 min walk up from the river and shops in a quieter area."

"As if being in a castle isn’t awesome enough, the staff is so friendly, accommodating and helpful. The grounds and rooms were exceptional. Gorgeous. The restaurant for dinner had amazing food and service. I honestly can’t say enough about this property. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, whatever best ratings I can possibly give for a hotel - I bestow upon this hotel. You absolutely MUST stay here, even if for just a day. It’s totally worth it! "

"Lovely hotel with lovely staff. It’s walkable to the old town but not close. Having a car would be better in this location or taxi’s, which are readily available. We drove all around Germany and this was the easiest hotel to park. The staff is lovely and made our stay fantastic. "
