Such a quaint cottage with a great outdoor serenity space! Everything you needed was in the cottage. The outdoor tub was the highlight with the outdoor fireplace! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit & would definitely return. Even our dog enjoyed her stay!

Absolutely lovely, quiet, super clean and modern, the hot tub area was a dream, I would stay there again any day! Communication from the host was clear and on time and they have an amazing property to share with everyone. Highly recommended
A great cabin in a location with many activities. Great access to local fishing spots! Matt was quite helpful and answered all of our questions quickly. He obviously cares about the property and his approach shows that care.
This little oasis is beautifully tucked away but the location was convenient enough to still venture out for a day or go for dinner. The home is upkept, clean and stocked with all the things one might need. Communication with the host was fast and efficient. The spa is hands down the best feature if your really looking to relax.
If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, you are sure to find it here! The outdoor tub and fire table gave a spa like feel, allowing you to truly relax and recharge. The kitchen was equip with everything you might need to make a meal. It was spacious, clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable!
The hosts were wonderful and great at replying, and the property is a short drive away from Mill bay.
We would definitely stay here again.
Matt runs a great little spot tucked just off the highway in Cobble Hill. Close enough that you can drive anywhere easily, but far enough that you don't hear a sound.
This will be our go-to spot for all visits to the Cowichan Valley in the future.
The spa area was a perfect place to wait out the rainy Island mornings with a coffee in hand and soak in the tub before bed each night.

My husband and I visited Cobble Hill to see our grandchildren, daughter and son-in-law in April. The cottage is in a quiet area and and has everything anyone would need. Fridge, stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer and great amenities such as all cutleries, cutting boards, etc. The bed is super comfy and my grand kiddies loved the pull out couch. The spa is a definite bonus with big soaker tub and the fire table adds a relaxing ambiance. I highly recommend! Thank you Matt.
We Stayed at this private cottage December 9th to the 12th and..we truly had an amazing time!
The cottage is perfect in every way. It has everything you need during your stay and the location is ideal as you are within a half hour to Victoria OR 15 minutes to downtown Duncan.
While we did not get the chance to use the Spa..it looked spectacular!! The cottage is soooo cozy and decorated with bright lights...It just felt like home. The owner was fabulous with his communicating with us yet you would not even know that they are near you on the property as your privacy is number one with them!
We absolutely LOVED this place and can't wait until we get a chance to come back!! Thank you for making our stay a most memorable one :)

Cottage is beautiful specially the spa area. Heating system is very nice. Very clean and private. I wish there was a hairdryer and more curtains for privacy. The lights went off a couple times in the spa which was the only down side. The place is pretty far from nearest convenient stores and restaurants. Other than that everything else was pretty good and we had a very relaxing time.
I have stayed at a number of home getaways, and this one is one of the most appointed. It has everything you need and if it doesn’t, just ask and it was fulfilled.
The spa room is a wonderful added touch and it was a selling feature for us. Location was on a very quiet road and a short drive to the off leash beach and to some hiking trails in which our dogs enjoyed immensely. Short drives to nearby towns for restaurants and water sports,
Bed and linens are very comfortable and shower was good. The host was accommodating and respectful our our privacy. All important when choosing a place. I highly recommend this location and the host. If we are back in the area again, we would choose this place again!
Cottage was even better than described, with more than expected added amenities throughout. The kitchen was well stocked for light cooking, soaps and some toiletries are provided, towels are plush, and a few entertainment choices are available. Cozy throws and plenty of options to stay cool or warm depending on preference. Very quiet, private, and picturesque. The outdoor spa is an absolute highlight!
It appears the owners have provided great attention and care to the property and it’s set up. Matt’s communication was terrific and very accommodating.
Location is best suited to those wanting to stay in, otherwise car travel is preferred for anything more than rural road walking.
Other reviewers provided top ratings for cleanliness…we found it to be at the level of a tidy house, yet not what you’d expect from professional cleaners, as there was too much debris from previous use for us not to lightly clean upon arrival. Matt’s follow-up assured us this was likely uncommon.
Value far outweighs cost and when comparing to many other Island cottages, this one surpassed expectations in most categories.
We look forward to returning in the future and trying other seasons.
Our stay was amazing! Matthew has thought of everything! His cottage is private and has all the amenities, the instructions for everything are clear and concise! The spa was perfect! 100% recommend staying here! Loved it!!!!

Wonderful accommodation's in a quiet and relaxed setting. Terrific amenities.
Absolutely perfect retreat. If you like peace and quiet, this place won’t disappoint. Very well equipped self-contained cottage with all the amenities: washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, flat screen tv’s, wifi, fresh new linens, etc. Everything was clean and looked practically new, beautiful bathroom with a large walk in shower. A big front yard and super quiet neighborhood, great area to take a walk on country roads. While there aren’t any shops nearby to walk to, only 5 minutes by car to Mill Bay village or the Cobble Hill shopping centre.
Owners were very respectful of my space and very accommodating.
Loved it and would recommend it to anyone.
Lovely little cottage in a beautiful area. Cottage has all of the amenities and is spotlessly clean. All in all we had a really nice 2 night stay and I would definitely stay here again.
