"Really liked the breakfast buffet each morning. We were assigned the room labeled "handicap room" on the 4th floor. It was a lovely room and fine view. We had no idea how to lower or raise the blinds and had to call for help to do so. Help was very responsive, thank you. If I were handicapped and confined to a wheel chair, I don't think I could have gotten up on the bed! They are very high! The sliding door to the bathroom is a neat idea but the door is so heavy it is very difficult to...

"This place is a hidden gem. When I look for a hotel pools are not my motivation. This hotel has no pools or breakfast. What it does have is a nice, safe, clean, private and comfortable room. A great bed and a shower that I wish I had at home. Powerful and hot and awesome. The owner is a great guy who really cares about his hotel. We try to stay at this hotel whenever we are in Va Beach.
