"place was disgusting. the ratings must be because so many places in california are hotels that people are living in longterm, this spot is no different but for that reason the upkeep is poor for people who only need a hotel stay rather than a home. the place is rundown and you can tell they just painted over it painted over hills dirt and cobwebs in the corners the tub and toilet and sink is rusted. staff is nice. tissue even though i opened it fresh was stained. just a place that i would never stay again. walls motel level thin."

"I like the fact it was very pet friendly. I didn't like the fact no coffee maker and microwave in room. the price was over 350. for a standard room. I felt for the quality very over priced"

"They upsold my husband at the check-in with ocean view when I rebooked a partial ocean view room. We still got a side view of the ocean. It wasn’t worth the upsell. The jacuzzi automatically turned off when the timer stopped but then needed a break before the jets would work again. During the break, the water temp cooled down. And it wasn’t very hot in the first place. They offer no self parking. Strictly valet, which of course is expensive. And the propane for the fire pits was out or not functioning. The rooftop restaurant service was much too slow. I liked the location and the property was lovely."
