Room was clean, but had a smell we could not figure out. We ended up buying a few of the plug in air fresheners. Solved the problem. The breakfast was good for hotel breakfast. Would definitely stay again should we be back in this area.

Big room and it was clean. Staff was cordial. Those are the only good things I can say about this very old motel in the middle of nowhere. Surrounding neighborhood looked pretty sketchy.

Coalinga is a great halfway point to stop at when driving from north to south California. I felt refreshed and ready to drive the next day.
