Lovely cottage
Plum Tree Cottage exceeded our expectations it is so quaint, comfortable & cosy . it is well equipped with so many added extras . The village of Clyde has lovely cafes , restaurants & walks it is a lovely place to base yourselves. All in all the combination of this lovely cottage with its location made for a very memorable holiday.

Pretty cottage. Found the inside a bit overwhelming with numerous nick nacks, not to my taste. Bed was very clean and comfy and host left milk and wine in fridge which was a nice touch. Garden was secure for doggies. Handy for Clyde town and rail trail.

Hi Julia - did you look at the images?? I cannot produce what we are not. We have a miners cottage in a historic town. Others come to enjoy the numerous 'nick nacks '- which are all seen in the images. You really cannot please some people. We take pride in our cottage - if you want normal please stay at our clyde redbrick family accomodation.

Picture book perfect
We were attracted to the historic cottage, fenced section (dog friendly) and the proximity to be able to walk to the restaurants, cafes and shops in Clyde. A beautiful place to spend a weekend - would recommend in a heart beat. Nicky, Greg & Bear (pooch).

Wow! It was just what we needed. The perfect country cottage with everything we wanted plus more. Indoor outdoor living, a generous host (she supplied us with eggs for breakfast), and the most wonderful location. The town of Clyde is a must, with buildings made with local stonework and is enhanced by the English country gardens. Lavender, hollyhocks, roses and fruit trees. The plums at plum tree cottage were deliciously sweet. The only down side was that we didn't stay longer. We highly recommend this cottage.

Plumtree cottage is well located to walk everywhere you want to go in Clyde. The cottage itself is clean, comfortable and well provisioned. The period decor, including humorous touches, and the expansive garden make it a charming place to spend some time. I would go back in an instant.

Plum tree Cottage perfection
Loved our brief time here - really well located - close to the shops and historic area but at the “quiet” end of the street and set a long way back from the road so quiet and peaceful. Outdoor area off the kitchen is perfect for reading books in the sun. Well fenced section and we so appreciated bringing our little dog with us. Log burner heats up the house perfectly and was all set for us to light. Heaps of tiny logs stacked ready for us to use. Everything we needed. Thank you

Excellent outdoor area with beautiful roses. Fresh chicken eggs daily :) There is everything what you need in this house. Beds are comfortable , water is hot and and pressure in the shower is good. The local shop is very close. We had a great stay there!

We have stayed at Plum Tree Cottage a few times and it never disappoints. The owners have done some awesome renovations of the cottage. The perfect place to stay for a relaxing, lovely time in the wonderful Clyde. Would highly recommend.

We loved staying in Clyde at Plum Tree Cottage. Our hosts Jaqui and Steve were very helpful and welcoming. The cottage was extremely comfortable and warm, with the best bed and shower, especially nice to come back to after cycling, and perfectly placed for all cycling and walking tracks.Recommend.
