"We had a fantastic time staying here!! The host Stephen was incredibly helpful with any questions we had and was generous enough to let us stay past our check out time when our car broke down!! The area had plenty to do, would highly recommend going to Clovelly as well as watching the sunset from the cliffs backing onto the house. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we hope to return in the future"

"We stayed in the Westbeach apartments for 3 nights during the summer holidays. We had a 3 bed apartment for our family of 4, plus my father in law. The apartment was spacious and really comfortable. Beds were comfy and clean. Kitchen/lounge layout is always a win for us as we love open plan. The balcony from the living room and master bedroom was just lovely. Shower/bathroom was fab with lovely shower. Everything to a fairly high spec. We read the sad story behind the development of the apartments, but amazing that they managed to get them finished! The half finished building next to Westbeach is an absolute eyesore. One night we did see what looked like homeless people sleeping in there, but honestly it didn't bother us and it's no ones fault that it's been left in that state. It took us quite a while to find the apartment! But that's likely more on us and our navigation skills than anyone else's fault! We parked right by the apartment which was hassle free and fine for our tall campervan. We were right in the hustle and bustle of westward ho and it was lovely. Would use the apartments again- they were lovely, thank you :-)"

"Would highly recommend staying at high barns. Had a great week in north Devon. The barn is great to get to nearby coast/ beach and to venture further out. Great to be near a very large Asda! Communication was great throughout, knew where everything was and easy to contact if needed. Great to have air conditioning, private gas bbq along with lovely rooms and comfortable beds. Loved the use of the swimmming pool, and having allotted times. Very family and dog friendly! We would love to stay again in the future!"

"The cottage was easy to locate following instructions. The cottage was very clean and tidy. We had 1 minor problem which was dealt with very quickly. We met the owner who was very nice and chatty The price we paid was very reasonable and worth every penny. Will definitely book again"

"Never stayed anywhere that had so much crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans, bowls, great towels etc. There wasn't a single thing we needed! The property was perfect, beds very comfy, grounds were great, swimming pool was perfect! Washing machine and dishwasher were an added bonus!! Even our dog was very comfortable and he loved the lake and local beach. Beach was amazing, water very clear and a beach with no litter is very unusual these days (unfortunately). Highly recommended and we would love to come back and explore further."

"Everything we could have asked for was available. We loved the pool facility and the views are to die for. The BBQ was a handy as was the proximity of the superstore/shops. Good restaurants in the general area and reasonably priced. Would book again."

"This is our second visit to High Barns. This time we stayed in the Moulton-Barrett barn. The accommodation was excellent, as were the hosts. I was particularly pleased to see the complimentary cream tea upon arrival after a long drive - much appreciated! This is the perfect holiday for the dog owner (we have three). The one acre dog park is a fantastic facility and the large green to the front of the property proved to be extremely popular with one of our dogs. He would happily sit out there for hours. The pool was very popular with my partner who loves to swim. Her morning visit to the pool quickly became a highlight of the holiday. Overall 10/10 - we look forward to returning next year!"

"Excellent property, so much space for everyone. Beautifully maintained. Great communication from the host and touches like a well stocked hamper and fresh flowers on arrival. Honestly worth every penny. We didn't want to leave and certainly want to return for another holiday. Thank you Rose it was a gorgeous holiday and we made lots of lovely memories!"
