We had a comfortable stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our short stay. This is a straightforward, no-frills property with the essential amenities, and it met our expectations. We stayed at this wonderful hotel in June 2016 while doing the Coast Path walk. It is a restored group of farm buildings in a beautiful English village setting on the edge of Instow. We had the family room which consists of a double room with a super King size bed and two smaller single rooms. The bathroom was large with a nice big bath, just the ticket when doing the walk! The Beach at Bude was so so good!! Awesome location and the friendliest staff. The restaurant (Elements) served sensational dinners and breakfasts. Afternoon drinks on the patio were wonderful and relaxing. We had the least expensive room and it was small as expected but bathroom was very modern. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice property with Exceptional views over Woolacombe. The price of the property per night is close to top end 5 star properties in London though so you'd expect that. The rooms are nice but feel a bit bed and breakfast for my taste. All in all a good stay.

We had a great 3 night stay at The Ram's Head. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Food was absolutely delicious, so much so that we ate there each night. try the steak and ale pie!!!! Breakfasts were also delicious. Frank at front of house was really good and we enjoyed talking to chef/owner Nico. If you are over 1.90m tall then you will learn to duck under the beams in this really old inn. Would highly recommend staying here.
