"Very well decorated and nice furniture, roomy, nice location traveling for a graduation. Mind you, my career has me look at every detail, but cleaning was not detailed enough. The baskets in the bathroom had dust in them, popcorn in the window sill, and the mattress was average. And could use some hooks in bathroom to hang towels. I would definitely stay again, very quaint."

"This 2 bedroom house is a gem! It has a full kitchen with table, living room, full bathroom and 2 bedrooms! The house is nestled by beautiful trees filled with singing birds. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The freezer stopped working and they gave us a cooler with ice! The house was easy to find with GPS. It's close to downtown Fort Payne. "Cute little apartment at the former home of Howard Finster. There’s a gallery attached full of cool art that the owner gave us a great tour of after we checked in. FYI this not attached to the gardens though but it’s walking distance. The bed is very comfortable but the sofa doesn’t extend to a full bed so don’t count on that one. If you love Howard Finster you will love this spot! "

"Our stay at Harkness was wonderful. However David's rules are in place for a reason. We were unable to put all of our garbage in the garbage can because whomever stayed there before us did not take it to the curb as he requested. A few things I feel would help improve your stay at Hawk's Nest are: the king size bed does sink and I truly feel that needs to be replaced. It was a totally uncomfortable but it was slightly. The other helpful thing would be to have at least a toilet upstairs so that way you wouldn't have to run downstairs all the time to use the bathroom, and the last thing is just to make sure that after each person's stay that everything you provide should be fully stocked based upon how long someone is staying. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time. I would do it again."
