Property was lovely and very clean , large bedrooms all with good en suites, well equipped kitchen. large comfortable lounge dining area with log burning stove.Wood and coal was provided , but you should think to bring your own if you want to use the burner a lot. The cottage was set in a lovely rural setting within easy driving distance of all the Trough of Bowland
villages and walks.
We had a great time and would like to thank the owners for providing such a great venue

This was our first visit to the Forest of Bowland area and it was definitely worth it.
This was our first visit to the Forest of Bowland area and it was definitely worth it. The Old Dairy is set next to a meadowvwith trees in the distance and the farm next to it. The owners are to be congratulated on their attention to the little things that are so handy. Superb beds made for a wonderful night sleep. A fan was available for those hot, sticky days and nights. Helpful notes on places to eat, drink, cycle , walk or just enjoy. Scenic drives to market towns mean even the drive is enjoyable. Slow down (roads can be windy and narrow) and make the most of your holiday.

Our 2nd year at Christmas as a family here.
Our 2nd year at Christmas as a family here. We love it.
Doesn’t look like we will be able to return for Christmas 2020 due to it being only a week booking, work commitments are stopping us.
Beautiful cottage.
Beautiful location
Everything you could need
Only downside this year was my son has left his wallet somewhere in the cottage with quite a bit of birthday money, caretaker has looked but says not there
