We stayed at Arch Hill for the weekend and both really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Arch Hill for the weekend and both really enjoyed our stay. Vicki had the log burner fired up for us before we arrived which was a lovely touch. The cottage was clean, homely and spacious including having two dogs. The cottage has everything you'd need. There's an enclosed garden which was ideal for the dogs too. Really nice and quiet.Whilst we were limited by the weather for getting out for walks etc it seems like it's well placed for exploring the area. We had a good lunch at the Spread Eagle in Sawley which is a short drive away.

Quirky little place.

Very company bed and sofa. Scenic, very quiet and relaxing. Lovely walks, even from the door. A little unusual to have a bathroom without a ceiling. The bedroom patio door needs a good clean as we found a couple of mushrooms on the bottom framework. Overall we had a lovely time.
