The cabin was well stocked with basic needs and games, but mostly we lounged near the river where there was plenty of space and privacy for fishing or relaxing. We will definitely plan to stay again. The instructions around the house, were easy to follow, a wonderful binder with wildlife safety tucked into the corner pockets, a bio of the hosts and much more. The kitchen stocked with all utensils possible for cooking. I really enjoyed that the hosts were only a message away and replied promptly. Cozy Pendleton blankets everywhere, which are my favorite. Perfect sound of the river coming through the windows and gas fireplace to help warm and relax you. Will definitely stay again. "

"Rented the unit for a 5 day fishing/hiking adventure on the river with a long time friend. We couldn’t possibly have been more pleased with everything about the home and the rental process! From the decor to the well appointed bedrooms, showers, kitchen and relaxing living room we just felt lucky to have found and secured the home! It’s a very special place right along the river with great access to many of the commercial businesses nearby while also feeling so remote in the Cascade foothills. "The McKenzie River house is right next to the river and all of its magnificence. Everything inside the house is there for you to enjoy the river and your stay. We are a group of plein air painters and this was our annual retreat.The wide deck above the river was very important to us to set up our easels for the views.The front wooded acreage was an alternate subject for our paintings. The sunshine through the trees beautiful.Tim was so reassuring and attentive, leaving flowers and wine to welcome us. Some of us enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor shower, and river swing. We cooked fabulous meals in the well appointed kitchen. The huge dining table was our gathering place.This was one of our most favorite places to paint outdoors."
