Blackbear Guesthouse has lots of comfort and stylish character. I was a solo traveler without a car but was able to take advantage of a seasonal bus service along the Pacific Rim Highway between Tofino and Ucluelet to get into both towns. The hospitable owners were also happy to give me a lift to Tofino if our journeys coincided. I used Pacific Rim Navigators to get a return trip from Long Beach Airport to the Guesthouse, which is not too far from the airport.

Long Beach Lodge Resort is right on the beach at Cox Bay. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet, shower was great, as was bathroom and only a short drive to Tofino. Excellent restaurant on the premises with a sunset to die for!

Our family stay, in Tofino, was highlighted by our stay at Fred Tibbs Ocean Front Condo #20. What a perfect location and fabulous loft. We really enjoyed watching the activities on the jetty! Photo opportunities everywhere too. A two night stay is at least 3 nights too short! I can't wait for a return visit to explore Tofino and the Pacific Rim more.

The lady who checked us in was lovely. Very helpful and cheerful. She went out of her way to give us advice for restaurants and provide us with a map of the area. I'd highly recommend staying at the Bayshore Waterfront Inn.

Perfect place for my 3-day stay on the surf coast of Vancouver Island. I received a surprise room upgrade, and the 1-bedroom apartment was great for my needs. It was simple, clean and cosy, and the location was fantastic - with Little Beach right across the road and the Wild Pacific Trail basically around the corner. I'd come again, it was really nice!
