"The Daxon has a great location - right in the center of Birmingham so easy to walk to stores, bars and dining. The hotel also has a great bar and lounge. And the pantry on our floor was a pleasant surprise - easy to get a snack and beverage. I would highly recommend it. "

"Our two night stay was magnificent! We used this as homebase for doing a lot of things in the area. TJ was a great host. He communicated frequently and clearly. While we didn’t need anything, he touched base to make sure we were comfortable. The house is updated and had everything we needed. The tree lined street and neighborhood were so nice. Would highly recommend!"

"Sweet and cozy accommodation! The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood, built in the 50’s I’d guess. The rooms were well appointed, with dining seating for six, plus a back yard seating area and lots of room for kids to play. We didn’t go into the basement, where there were other amenities. The en-suite bathroom was tiny- with room for only one person unless a second person was in the shower. We really liked the big fluffy towels, and having a place to put a suitcase was a real plus. Our host also made several helpful suggestions about places to eat. The location was very central to our needs, so getting to places in all directions was easy."

"This property is an absolute great place to stay! We had a group of four adults (1 couple and 2 singles) so this 3 bedroom with 1.5 baths was perfect for us. The home looks to have been recently renovated with all new appliances. Everything was impeccably clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for some light cooking. The backyard area looked super cute but we did not get a chance to use it. There was driveway parking, enough for a couple of vehicles. The neighborhood was nice, quiet and safe. We were in town for a concert"

"A wonderful stay had all that was needed in the house very comfortable on a busy road and a very narrow driveway we had 2 cars so my brother would pull in the car backwards so the front of the car was facing forward toward the street so that it easier to pull out on the road some suggestions- blinds in the kitchen and in the living room in the back of the VRBO for privacy and it would help with heating and cooling bills we stayed there almost 2 weeks the beds were not so comfortable I had a hard time sleeping otherwise it was a great stay and I would stay there again Atam was a good host and answered back quit with any questions or concerns I had "

"This place has terrible lighting. One table lamp at front door to illuminate the entire living room. Only a bright light in kitchen plus one stove overhead light. Nothing over sink. Poor stair illumination.Upstairs is designed for a child despite queen bed. Tiny size toilet upstairs. Wall paper hanging off wall. (Circa one yard). Downstairs bathroom and shower GOOD. Downstairs bedroom OK.Stove does not appear to work. We tried to cook two pot pies at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. After 20 minutes they were TOTALLY BLACK.Rented this thinking we'd invite others. NEVER."
