Claryville Cabin with 1,500 ft Trout River in the Catskill Mountains

This charming log-sided cabin is nestled in a quiet valley in the Catskill Mountains on 20 acres of woods and meadows with over 1,500 ft frontage on the East Branch of the Neversink River. Enjoy its 2+ bedrooms, 1 bath, living room with a fireplace/woodstove, dining room and fully-equipped kitchen.

Relax in the comfortable, well-appointed living room. Make your favorite meal in the well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy fly-fishing privately on the property, or at one of the several public fishing areas that are within a short drive. Explore the Catskill Mountains with its numerous hiking trails. Relax on the front porch and watch hummingbirds and butterflies. Make memories sitting around a campfire taking in the incredible stars.

We have Wi-Fi! Wi-Fi calling, high speed internet, cable television (smart tv) and a landline are all included free of charge. Guests can call, facetime, text and zoom. The cabin is located in a remote area of the Catskill Mtns. When you are hiking, fishing, and driving around, cell service may be spotty.

Great Getaway Location

What a great place to unplug and relax. Loved the rustic feel of the cabin. Enjoyed fishing the river. The property is like having your own private park. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely, relaxing, weekend at this charming, cozy, cabin. The grounds are so pretty and the house if perfect for our family including our dog. Mary was very easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Winter Cozy Cabin

We came with our dog for a cozy cabin weekend and it was perfect. The cabin was exactly what we needed and felt so homey. There was snow on the ground so it felt like a fairytale. The cabin was very warm. Mary was a fantastic host and kept us informed of everything. Planning to come back another time! Definitely recommend :)

Family gathering for Memorial Service

This cabin was the perfect for my brothers, husband and me. We explored the property and the river in the back yard…ate ripe apples that we picked from the tree in the yard. This was the perfect place to share memories of our father, grandparents, and great grandparents this weekend. We enjoyed exploring the school house in Claryville where our Dad had once attended school.

Cabin

Another great stay at the cabin on Denning Road. We grilled several tasty meals while we sat out back on a stone deck and listened to the East Branch of the Neversink River. Also spent a day or two in that water fishing. The cabin is well appointed and comfortable with everything we needed. Mary was excellent at communicating as well as leaving us to ourselves. Cabin

Another wonderful holiday spent at the cabin in the Catskills. We had everything the family needed in Mary's well appointed kitchen to make tasty meals throughout our stay. Otherwise, we slumbered on comfy furniture while we watched logs burn in the stone fireplace. As always, Mary responded quickly when we needed her but otherwise left us alone to enjoy ourselves. We'll be back...

Peaceful and Cozy Weekend

We spent the weekend at this little cabin and really enjoyed it. We did the 4 mile hike (round trip) to the fire tower (trail starts down the road) and enjoyed using the riverside fire ring. The kids and dog enjoyed wading in the river. We even saw a bear at dusk. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner. Both our teenager and 8 year are already asking to return. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

I wish I owned this house

This house was everything that my family wanted for a week in nature... secluded but still had WiFi and TV, a beautiful river in the backyard, and close enough to hikes and food. We spent afternoons playing in the river while my husband caught some brook trout and other days hiking. We even drove to a Hudson Valley Renegades minor league baseball game! Mary was amazing- easy to communicate with, even though we didn't have any issues while we were there. We would definitely come back again!

Cozy cabin with great property

The cabin was just what we were looking for while enjoying the catskills. We tried to keep tv watching to a minimum but it did have one to use while enjoying the warmth of the fireplace after spending the day outside. Kitchen was also staffed with all we needed for cooking meals. Red hill fire tower has a trailhead a half mile or less from the cabin. It was nice to be so close and check it off our list for the fire tower challenge. We also hiked balsam lake fire tower from the south side, only downside for that entrance was the long drive in. The views were phenomenal and made up for the drive. All in all it was a great stay and I am glad to have found this cabin to be our home away from home.

Perfect retreat and AMAZING Host!

This cabin is incredible! Very private, lots of property to explore with your own creek, and everything you would need (except food) to escape for a week or two. Love the little touches like matching bear dishes and towels, and the big things like heated bathroom floor and new shower! Mary, the host, was very generous, accommodating, and a quick communicator. She understands people come here to relax and for privacy. We had a slight hiccup where a tree took out the power to the cabin, but Mary kept us informed every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The property is very clean and the area is very quiet, with a few cars passing on the road each day. Lots of good things at this cabin like games and puzzles, fully functional kitchen, washer/dryer, lots of firewood, soothing creek sounds, bear statue, big dining room table, and privacy! Our two dogs had nothing to bark about it was so quiet, they were super relaxed and had lots to smell and explore outside. We look forward to another visit to the cabin!
