Northern Maine Lake Camp

"First of all the views of the lake and the sunsets were astounding. We made use of the outdoor wood grill and also made s’mores over a fire in the fire ring. Loved the privacy of the camp. Really would have liked to spend more time just chilling at the cabin and paddling on the lake, but we were busy hiking and exploring Baxter SP. it seems there are so many more things to do that we didn’t get to. There were some plumbing issues, but Andy and his plumber responded about as quickly as anyone could reasonably expect. I think he was going to make some modifications once we were out of the way.The decor was quite eclectic but good for a camp. A little Vegas at a camp is amusing. I was worried about the twin beds, but they turned out to sleep marvelously. The step up from the deck to the cabin is a bit of a challenge for short people. An intermediate step would be nice.All in all, a big win, hated to leave, want to come back!"

"This is in the Katahdin region and it is easy to get to a lot of outdoor and scenic places. The Inn is worn down but very clean. We did not use the pool or game area but it looked good and others did use it. The coffee and tea machines are ancient but there is a Dunkin’ across the street. We left a little before 6AM but did not see any breakfast prep. We have stayed in the past and will stay again in the future."

"Beautiful and very unique place and amazing spot on the lake. Amazing sunsets and mountain views from the deck and beach. Easy ATV trail network access and only 10 minutes from all the shops and restaurants in Millinocket. Hosts were amazing and zero issues with our stay. Thanks!"

"A perfect quiet place to use as a hub for trekking Baxter State Park. The host, Elizabeth, was always prompt with any messages I sent. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking full meals and the bed was very comfortable."

"Our boys wanted to be in the woods and we were in the woods!! It was a perfect place to stay to climb Katahdin. It was so clean, plenty of kitchen items to eat in and beautiful scenery all around. We enjoyed the “fun” of the outdoor shower!"
