"The communication from Chris the host was excellent, she was extremely helpful and gave us plenty of extra information about the area. The chalet was clean, comfortable and well appointed, its location was amazing with such beautiful loch walks fantastic for our dog. The local cafe, Inn and locals in general were all so welcoming. I would definitely recommend the chalet to anyone wanting beautiful scenery on your doorstep!"

"We were working on the island for a few days & im glad we decided to stay at Andrew & Alison’s B&B. Lovely welcoming people who done a fantastic breakfast for us every morning. The rooms were huge, warm & very comfortable. On another note, we managed to finish our job earlier than expected & Andrew was kind enough to contact the ferry company and change the time of our return journey so we could get back home quicker. "This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem."

"Hands down my favorite hotel during my trip. On the day of my check-in, I made dinner reservations and unfortunately I ran into car trouble so I was going to miss dinner hours by 20 minutes. Immediately when I got to check in, they offered to make me a plate even though the kitchen was closed. 10/10 hotel! I’ll be visiting again"

"We stayed two nights and loved the place. Charming, authentic, cool place with lots of space to relax. Old but that’s the point as has some history. Walking distance from ferry as we were on foot. Food offerings were great and well prepared. Staff very friendly and accommodating. No rigid rules and they always found solutions. Beds comfortable, amenities were good. Would recommend for sure. "
