All the staff are absolutely amazing at this hotel, so friendly and go the extra mile to make you feel special - we were pleasantly surprised when we got a birthday bottle delivered to our door for my boyfriend during our stay, even got a card and biscuits! (It’s the little things) The guests were lovely also, it is a well sized hotel so you don’t feel swamped by other people, but also not too small - you can be social and still keep yourself to yourself when you want to. The evening entertainment was amazing with a high standard of performers. The day time activities were well constructed too - the lady who ran the pool volleyball seemed to really be able to bring all the guests together and have a laugh, the whole hotel was entertained and wanted to watch the game. From start to finish we had a perfect holiday and the hotel was a huge part of this. The only small cons I would mention was the food, this was all cooked to a high standard but we did struggle to eat our food while it was hot as it is of course a buffet style, and while this is to be expected at times, we seemed to never be too lucky in getting our food temperature right. The restaurant manager greeted you every time you entered and would find you a table if you needed help

This was our 5th visit to the Valentin Star and we will be going back. The staff are very helpful. The sun terrace offers an alternative to sun beds in the day. The entertainment and activity programme is varied from yoga to aqua volleyball. The hotel has a relaxed and friendly vibe. The food is excellent. The hotel is in a good location being right next to the marina in Cal'n Bosch and within walking distance of the beach and bus stops.

Lovely big , clean rooms . Well appointed bathroom . Excellent food , wide choice. Great pool and plenty of loungers. Evening entertainment was of a great standard.

Adults only hotel with good facilities, large swimming pool with terraces and a pool bar/cafe serving good food and snacks. Lovely buffet food at breakfast and dinner, large choice and generally good quality. Good evening entertainment. Large well appointed room. Very central position close to all local amenities. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

I didn't like the fact that people were allowed to smoke round the pool. There should be a designated smoking area away from the majority of people

The hotel is right on the marina and although slightly dated is well kept.
