Clean and tidy although some damage and cosmetic wear to the room....
Pool are clean and pleasant...... Bar area and restaurant OK - nothing too special here.....

Lago Resort is situated right at the marina, it has a great wiev over the yachts, and bars and restaurants around it. It is 3 minutes walk from a beach and bust stop (from which you can go to Ciutadella is just net to the hotel). Food is very good and varied, staff is friendly and generally helpful. The hotel lacks identity though, it partly tries to be a cool place with house music, funk, etc. DJ (excellent by the way) around the pool and then bingo in the evening. There is some wear and tear signs on it and it feels that it's slightly past its glory but it is still the coolest place in Cala'n Bosch. I think the building site next door didn't help but hopefully, that will be finished next season. One thing I found slightly uncomfortable was a sense that some staff was focused on just getting money off you. The evening entertainment was advertised using prices before tax; staff was keen to take payment to rent the kayak but disappeared when asked about the equipment.
Overall, despite some minor issues, it is a lovely hotel and I would go there again.

The hotel was very contemporary. Extremely clean ane welcoming. The staff were superb and so helpful.
The breakfast was one of the best we have had in a long time. So much choice and all really fresh. Freshly squeezed orange juice was very nice. So many healthy choices.

Fantastic location overlooking the harbour and a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Hotel is modern, airy and has been stylishly designed. Our room was generous in size (more of a mini apartment) and had a private area at both front and rear for sunbathing or relaxing with a drink. Plenty of sunbeds, but these could do with a bit of a clean to maintain the 4* rating. Unfortunately, noisy building work from site next door- hopefully will have been completed for 2020 season-but worth checking if a quiet time by the pool is important to you.
We felt the service from staff was generally poor (perhaps they were getting a bit de-mob happy as we stayed towards end of season), but daily room cleaning was missed, staff not interested in clearing up broken glass and failure to provide a booked picnic breakfast due to an early departure on our last morning was treated with a shrug of the shoulders. Disappointing really -more like Fawlty Towers than 4-Star!
