"Our stay at Ziegler Cottage was truely remarkable. It can only be described as a little piece of paradise. A truely beautiful place where I could relax in a way I haven't for years & as a result I think I healed. The spectacular garden backs onto the beach & we saw the most incredible sunsets. The staff were amazing & they looked after us in a way I've never experienced.We felt like royalty. A really incredible place & a remarkable experience. I don't know what led me there but I'm so grateful...

"It is ok if you want to spend the night without going to Colombo the same night you arrive. Don't expect any taxis to take you there as it is only about a km from th airport. Walk out the gate to the main road and get a tuk tuk."

"Noisy and horrible 3 night stay, unclean bedsheets, pillows and towels. No sheets were provided except mattress fitted sheet. Advised sheets not changed after each guest. Breakfast was included in initial booking, but had to be purchased. No tea or coffee facilities in rooms. Stay away, not upto western standards!"
