"This is budget prices so I expected a budget room simples ! I turned up and was greeted by a cheerful manager who explained every to me. The management are currently working on improvements to the hotel and i think come spring its gonna be spot on. Cosy and warm throughout the whole hotel. Yes, the room could do with a bit of tlc but everything worked, great wi fi, and clean. Bed was comfortable too. I would stay here again when I return to Weston-super-Mare. "

"I loved staying at The Beaches because everything was perfect, the owners were on hand to do breakfast every morning which wasn't limited to either a full English or just cereals (as in some B&B's that I've stayed in), they were happy to be of any help that you needed. I would be very happy to stay there next year when I go down again. There was nothing to hate about staying there."

It’s in a fantastic location, with plenty of amenities and great places to eat within comfortable walking distance. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth by the owner. His friendly nature and extensive local knowledge made my three-night stay even more enjoyable, with plenty of great suggestions for things to do and see. Breakfast each morning was perfect – spot on, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared and served, they couldn’t do enough to make sure everything was just right. On my last day, I had the pleasure of meeting the owners mother and her close friend, and we enjoyed a lovely conversation about the importance of good food and service – something The Richmond clearly understands and delivers.
