Cinemark Downey Tours and Activities

The property looks like it's been remodeled recently, which was nice, however, the rooms are tiny and it was not very comfortable. The bathrooms are tiny. There is no space in the sink area to put your toiletries, much less your hair stuff, or anything. The room felt very humid and the wall A.C. said it needed a new filter. The room was o.k. clean, but could have been better. There is no office, front desk, or anything like that. There's a kiosk where you check in and out. It was a bit strange. There is a $10 parking fee per day, which should not be, as you're already paying for the room, it should already be included. Just felt very disconnected. We definitely will not stay here again.

Based on location, right off the freeway so easy access: walking distance to a coffee shop, sushi, ice cream shop, book store and grocery store. Hotel and room wise, stayed on the first floor and was very noisy, ive paid much less for hotel rooms that at least included ear plugs, white noise machines or speakers to drown out the morning deliveries and the sound of the road or people above you walking. Loved the room, loved the vibe, aesthetic and convenient location of the hotel but the bed was one of the worst beds my wife and I have slept in this year and we travel often; felt like we were both sleeping in dips. Not sure when the last time the mattress was replaced but for the sole purpose of the worst sleep I’ve got at any hotel this year due to mattress and noise, I will not be staying at this hotel again. I am open to coming back if those issues were able to be resolved: until then I’ll be staying elsewhere. The hotel itself was a great spot tho and the staff was great so I’m very appreciative of that.
