"This is a special hotel that reminds me of past stays in Colonial cities in Mexico... 30 years ago. It has everything you need. Each room is different and lovely. The noise from the parroquia is heard, but fine so long as you aren't trying to sleep in a lot in the am. The restaurant in the courtyard is a plus thought only open in the daytime. The menu and execution of the dishes is traditional Mexican cuisine of a surprisingly high quality. And there is also that the hotel has a wonderful, magical location. Price is also a plus. "

The walk to the city square is all uphill, but with the energy you get from the nice breakfast, you can do it."

The hotel has charming boutique character and a relaxed, intimate atmosphere that made it feel personal rather than commercial. The heated pool was a highlight — incredibly restorative after long days walking the cobblestone streets. It became part of our daily rhythm and truly elevated the stay. The location is excellent and very walkable, making it easy to explore the city and return to a comfortable, welcoming space. The staff were gracious and welcoming, including to our small dog, which we deeply appreciated. A lovely boutique option with character and warmth. We would happily return."
