"Christopher had the best customer service ever and a great boat driver as well! Breakfast was good in the main restaurant. Our only complaint was the pizza from the pub was like a child's pizza. It was not good at all. Everything else was excellent."

"The property is spacious, has a lovely view and is close to several beautiful walks (Elk Lake, Thetis Lake). It’s also close to a grocery store and fabulous sandwich shop called Mosi. The property was as nice as advertised and the hot tub was a real treat! As noted by other guests there aren’t a lot of pots and pans and a few more spoons would be nice. We knew this from other guests so were prepared. Another nice feature is the separate dining room, which is rare in my experience. We had some family members who live close by join us for Thanksgiving dinner (they also leant us a few casserole dishes). We all loved being able to gather around a big harvest table for a special dinner. Many thanks for a memorable stay!"

"If I could give this a higher rating than just 5/5 I absolutely would!! My girl friend and I and my small dog stayed at this beautiful property for 9 wonderful days in September just as the autumn colours were beginning to turn and are already looking forward to our next stay! We enjoyed 2 separate bedrooms with VERY comfortable beds, a beautiful bathroom and a great little well stocked kitchenette. We were able to cook our meals there when we wanted or we could drive to restaurants in the area. Saanich is wonderfully quiet, scenic and rural. It's very laid back but it's within easy drive to Victoria if you're looking for bright lights and night life. Ian our host was not on the property for most of the time but very responsive when we had questions. The other part of the house is also available as a vrbo but there were never any issues with noise between the two parts of the house. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to get away and unwind (no tv but great wifi) We'll definitely be back!! Thanks Ian!!"
