"I wouldn’t consider this area safe and would not recommend as a honeymoon destination. It was very noisy at night time, constant horning etc. There were insects everywhere, including indoors, lizards, ants, worms etc. Mary was very kind and ensured we had breakfast however, it wasn’t the most pleasant experience due to the location being very noisy and the cleanliness. "We picked Maru Maru because we were a large family group and they offered transportation to and from the airport for an additional fee. In addition, the hotel was very nice, had a very good breakfast buffet and a pool that the kids enjoyed. Was very clean and we felt very safe. Our flights were before breakfast was available and they kindly prepared breakfast to go for us, which was over and above what we expected. It is located in a walkable area of the city. If I return, I won't even bother to look at other properties."
