"This hotel says they won’t rent to locals. We got there at 3 AM and it was below zero. My D\L has my old address in Anchorage. We now live in Soldotna. They were not going to rent to us because I have a local address. We were able to prove we didn’t live in Anchorage. I guess if we couldn’t have they would have refused us and we would be out at 3 AM in sub zero weather. Supposedly someone stole from a room and they were local, so I guess all locals steal? Was told this is a company decision. If your local don’t book here. I know I won’t again."

"HVAC unit is on verge of seizing up in room 207. Originally booked to room 307 but room was not cleaned; dirty soap, etc"

"The lobby smells like a litter box. I went to my room, it had a different, but equally offensive smell. I went back to the counter, turned in my keys, and left. I booked due to other ratings. No idea what they were thinking. "

"Honest review of someone who travels for work and doesn’t really need many bells.and whistles, bit this hotel was awful. Room carpets stained, mess in elevator and common halls left for days, no body wash or hand soap for the entire stay of 3 days (asked front desk twice). Had to go to lobby three times after check in to have keys reprogrammed. The "fitness center" is not what is in the pictures, two treadmills but only one works, one bike, no towels, no wupes, no weights and half the room lights don't work. Breakfast is all cereals, bread, muffins, bagels, and some scrambled egg. No fruits or oatmeal. Staff at reception are rude. "
