Apartments in Chugiak

"Room and bathroom is clean, although sheets had old sticker residue and ripped hole in pillow case. Pillows are near flat and bedding was thin with no extra provided. No USB ports in room was an unexpected added cost to buy wall charger. Also had homeless hanging near garbage cans outside. Staff was friendly and quick check in/out. Washer & dryer for laundry on each floor is nice, as well as vending for snacks/drinks. You can tell there has been some upgrades to rooms/bathrooms but minor wall damage and other minor things indicates an older hotel."

"This hotel says they won’t rent to locals. We got there at 3 AM and it was below zero. My D\L has my old address in Anchorage. We now live in Soldotna. They were not going to rent to us because I have a local address. We were able to prove we didn’t live in Anchorage. I guess if we couldn’t have they would have refused us and we would be out at 3 AM in sub zero weather. Supposedly someone stole from a room and they were local, so I guess all locals steal? Was told this is a company decision. If your local don’t book here. I know I won’t again."

"HVAC unit is on verge of seizing up in room 207. Originally booked to room 307 but room was not cleaned; dirty soap, etc"
