"I'd recommend that one bring a travel adapter. The hotel uses the 3 circular pin-style plugs. Although they have adapters, I couldn't get one when I arrived, as they had run out. Otherwise, it's along a main road, which is well-lit at night and pretty busy with people waiting for public transport even at 10 pm, so it felt safe. There are not many food options beyond 10 PM other than a bakery (Bakers Inn) at a fuel station 3 minutes away."

"We loved our stay at Cresta. It is a beautiful property with very nice rooms and friendly staff. We had 6 large pieces of luggage that fit comfortably and we still had plenty of space to move about. "

"This was my second stay at Amanzi. Great that they now offer dinner & tea since closing their sister Amanzi Restaurant- great to have the flexibility/choice to eat on site or venture elsewhere. The new offer of complimentary drinks in the mini fridge much appreciated.

"A very nice hotel in a fine location. Beautiful garden and buildings. Fine restaurant. Very nice staff. Two pools. Not sure they were cleaned every day. "

"Easy secure parking, my room was clean and new… had aircon and a great wifi signal… friendly receptionist… the only downside was no hot water when I took a shower however it was the middle of summer so wasn’t that bad… but besides that always had electricity as they had a solar system "

"My stay was truly pleasant and comfortable. The property is conveniently located within walking distance of Bon Marche and Pick n Pay grocery stores, with a lovely coffee shop just around the corner. I particularly enjoyed my morning walks up Mount Road — the 1.5 km stretch and back made for a refreshing start to each day. The staff were consistently welcoming, helpful, and accommodating, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Harare — hopefully with a little returning guest’s concession!"
"Situated in a quiet, central area. The place is very clean and close to several amenities, and not too far from the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful and the security was satisfactory

"This is the best hotel in Africa, the ambience, the service, the politeness of staff, the quality of food, the room, the bathroom, the gardens. I hope they don't get too busy as I definitely will always hope to stay here when I am in Harare. :)

"The staff were professional and engaging. The standard rooms were spacious, large, clean and comfortable. There is a food court nearby and it is walking distance to the CBD and also to shopping centres like Fife Avenue Shops. I would happily stay there again. Secure parking inside a gated complex makes it very safe. "
"Only stayed for one night but the experience was good ,the staff was so friendly and helpful.
The room was clean so was the bedding. Although the food was great it is incredibly overpriced ,they would work on that. "
"We really enjoyed our stay!! The room was very comfortable and clean. We asked for a later checkout due to having a later flight and they were very accommodating to us. The staff did an amazing job and super friendly! The breakfast that is included was soo delicious too. It’s a hidden gem in Harare, definitely will be staying here again when back in town. "
