SH1 was perfectly situated for access from CHC airport upon arrival, and walkable to nearby cafe and restaurants, along w. a chemist. This property was perfect for our needs. It was a haven to come home to, after busy days sight-seeing. It is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped, and we appreciated the little extras that were provided. We were able to easily access the city each day. We would definitely stay here again.

In Christchurch to watch some golf

We came to Christchurch for 5 nights to watch a golf tournament. The location was great, the place is spacious, comfortable and Rose set it up so that we could have the 2 singles as a king in the bigger bedroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully we will return next time we’re in Christchurch.

What a great spot, what a lovely place!

Perfection. I'm a fairly heavy user of hotel chains, apartment rentals, and other forms of accomodations, and it's been a true delight to stay here for my Christchurch visit this week. Everything was amazing. Everything was lovely - even the rain and hail, seemed to make the stay more pleasant in this place.

We have stayed in many places but this one tops them all. Warm, well stocked with things you would need for your stay along with extras like a cupboard full of toys, soft comfy beds, Netflix, Sky, wifi, toiletries etc etc. Highly recommended. Great value. Gracious hosts.

Beautiful house in a great location, this property has it all !

We spent almost a week here and had a very enjoyable stay, the location is perfect. Everything you could possibly need was here and more. We were pleasantly surprised by all the little extra things that were included, like Body Wash and Shampoo in the bathroom, to all of the condiments, the breakfast cereals, tea, etc in the kitchen. All those little things you tend to forget were here, really making this a home away from home. We will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to New Zealand.
