The Old Bakery provides superb comfortable accommodation in a period cottage close to the central district of Christchurch. It is ideally situated to the main bus transport links into the city centre and to the airport. The amenities and furnishings are very comfortable which makes this a perfect place for a break in the city. I would recommend the Old Bakery to anyone looking for accommodation in Christchurch.
Cozy comfortable and charming cottage. Steeped in history, has everything you could need. Great communication with host the whole process. Lovely garden also. Close to public transport and shops.
Great communication from host, cottage was in an excellent location and very quiet. We really appreciated the very pretty, enclosed garden for early morning coffee before very busy days. Have already recommended to friends.
Clean and tidy - cozy - warm - everything you need. Walking distance to supermarket and close to town and port hills. Handy spot. Just would have been great to have had fridge turned on for when we arrived with groceries that needed chilling.
We had a lovely stay. Ellen was very accomodating and communicated very well with us.
The cottage was perfect for our needs and the location was fabulous.
What a lovely place to stay in! So comfortable and clean, and very close to many parts of Christchurch. Very reasonably priced and such a helpful host.
Bless you Ellen.
This property was well represented by the description. Good location close to city transit and grocery etc. very quiet and comfortable. Great garden and host was very helpful!
A delightfully comfortable and homely cottage with everything we needed. An easy place to stay with good parking. Our grandchildren came by and we loved playing "Fish". Centrally located with nearby supermarket and eateries.
Very clean and comfortable and close to supermarket and coffee shops and takeaways. Walking distance from town. Sometimes a little noise from commercial unit next door but not unacceptable
We have stayed here previously and enjoyed it as much this time as the first. The location suited us perfectly. The cottage is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. It is well stocked with everything that you need. Ellen is a wonderful host. Thanks Ellen.
This is comfortable reasonably priced accommodation which matches the online description that we found at the last minute. It is a bit out of the way from where we normally stay but we would consider staying again.
