1 Bed Comfort in the Heart of CHCH

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally located place. Newly built 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom, 2-storey townhouse located in the centre of Christchurch, opposite the Salt District, offering a world of food choices right at your doorstep. Full sized master bedroom with Queen bed and a living room sofa bed. Complete with a fully equipped kitchen, high quality hotel linen, bidet toilet, just to name a few. Great for a weekend exploring Christchurch or extended work trips. High speed internet.

Ground floor has the kitchen, living and dining area flowing to the private, fully fenced courtyard. Upstairs (1st floor) has the bedroom with Queen bed and a full sized bathroom. Sofa converts into a bed (additional cost).
Canterbury Linen Services, who service local 5 Star Hotels, provide our sheets and towels. You can sink into the luxury of a professionally laundered bed knowing it's 5-star hotel clean.

You have access to the entire space, including the private outdoor courtyard.
There is no dedicated parking with this property. There is a mixture of street parking options - free and paid. Carebnb will be able to provide the details.

City Noise - Please note this is an inner city Townhouse. Its near the road, some intersections, and restaurants and so you can expect the usual central city noises. Pedestrians walking past, cars driving, background restaurant noise and the occasional Siren. The Townhouse is much quieter with the windows closed. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are recommended, or perhaps choose a property not so close to the city.

SALT is a compelling part of the Christchurch experience. Named after its geographical positioning in Christchurch’s CBD (Saint Asaph, Lichfield, and Tuam), SALT District is dubbed the city’s most alternative neighbourhood Expect world-class fashion and top-notch eats, drinks and pampering hot spots. Explore new laneways and wander old streets. Check out eye-popping street art and take in the inner-city vibe with its original facades and gleaming new structures. ‍

Today’s Christchurch looks way different from that of pre-2011. Although we lost some heritage in the big shakes we gained some contemporary cool and heaps of exciting new spaces. ‍ From these changes, and thanks to some dedicated locals, the SALT District emerged.

The Christchurch bus exchange is a 5 min walk away and that will give you access to all of Christchurch via the various bus routes. The Moov it app is great to download ahead of time should you wish to use the bus system while visiting Christchurch.

On street parking is free outside the development after 5pm and on weekends but can often be full during the day however does empty out in the evenings. The surrounding streets also have free parking available. This information is detailed in the Welcome pack inside the property.

Ubers or Taxi’s are never far away and are available 24/7 for a convenient pick up. Lime electric scooters are never too far away if you wish to see the city by scooter.

Upper floors are accessible via stairs only.

Please note we can facilitate early check-ins/late check outs. there is an extra cost of $10 per hour with maximum of 2 hours. extra cost is to cover express cleaning. This is subject to availability.
We have strict rules in place to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests and neighbours. Please refrain from making loud noise outside between the hours of 10pm and 7am. If you are unable to comply with this rule, we kindly ask that you do not book with us.
Additionally parties or gatherings are not allowed, any unauthorised gatherings will result in immediate cancellation with no refund.
Check out time is 10am and late checkouts must be requested 24hours in advance.
Smoking is prohibited inside the property and any damages or extra cleaning caused by smoking or pets will result in a $200 fee. We expect the house to be left in a reasonable condition and any additional cleaning required will be charged at $60 per hour.
Any damages, spills or stains must be reported and may result in a charge for replacement or cleaning.

Great Place, Great Location

Property was exactly as listed and photographed, well appointed with everything you would want in a secure, warm and quiet location in the heart of the city. Only a block from the new bus terminal (we used our Gold Cards on the bus to and from the airport). Could walk to everything in the central city within10-15 minutes. Highly recommended.

Clean and tidy property. Nice welcome, with both the heat pump and lights on. The bedroom doesn't have blackout blinds so if you're sensitive to light remember to pack an eye mask ;0). We had a car, and finding a park nearby was quite difficult. There are a few eateries nearby which is handy, but also quite a lot of street noise on the Friday and Saturday nights - particularly from the bar next door (but not too bad after midnight).
