"We were terribly disappointed with communications with the property. The internet site says that a door code is sent 24 hours before checkin but on the morning of our arrival we still had not received a code. We tried for 3 hours whatsapp and calling direct but no repsonse. As we were looking at a 2.5 hour bus trip from Panama city to the hotel we were anxious to make contact and get a code. As we had booked thru Expedia we turned to them and they also were unable to contact the hotel from 8:00 till 11:00. So by 11:00 we were completly frustrated and as we were writing a letter to cancel and them book elsewhere the hotel finally responded. Very frustating for 70 year old travellers to be unable to commuicate with a hotel during normal business hours."

It is more like a very nice bed and breakfast. the restaurant was very nice and moderately priced and breakfast, which is included, was also very good. It is about a 10 minute drive to the little main area of the Valle but not bad. The pool was nice enough, but small. The staff is very friendly and helpful."
