"Still under construction. Beautiful rooms. Most staff was helpful and pleasant. Dining facilities are not up to standard. Many items on the menu were not available. I left one restaurant after being told 4 times that my selections were unavailable.(Sorry, we are out of ...) I went to the other restaurant, ordered a BLT. After waiting a while, I was told there was no sliced bread, but they could serve the BLT on a bun. I cancelled my order and left."

"I am a local who needed to stay due to flooding in the area. Mrs. Renee at the front desk is a gem of a woman, the property is beautiful, however when I was checking into my room #323, there was a leak from the ceiling in the hallway (ceiling tiles were falling) so she quickly rearranged my room number to stay in #119 and I truly appreciate her quick thinking and amazing customer service. She deserves acknowledgement for being kind, efficient, and helpful. "

"Hotel needs renovation, there were peeled sofas in the main lobby. The fitness centre had 3 cardio machines and two of them were not working. Breakfast is just average."

"Room was large, comfortable. Only issue there were no towels, just 2 hand towels. Unfortunately this was not discovered until stepping out of the shower"

"Breakfast was meh, i think a continental breakfast would have been better. The room was clean however our balcony door handle was broken and house keeping never came. The front desk staff was awesome, so overall not the best but definitely not the worst "

"This house was perfect for our month long stay to visit family. Good for families or just one or two. The location was convenient for us and very accessible to restaurants and coffee shops as well as parks, grocery stores and downtown BR or LSU. There were plenty of blankets, pillows and towels. Lots of hot water and very comfy beds. The heat and AC both worked great. We needed both! We appreciated the washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen/cooking set up was fine and we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. Communication with the host was very prompt and courteous. We will look for availability here for future visits. We definitely recommend. "

"Where do I begin? The front desk - very nice- the bartenders- great- the room service (when they had enough staff to order) great- the guy who had to jimmy rig the hotel door to the pool - also great- door to pool was propped open with a trash can - the breakfast I paid for wasn’t an option- Buffett wasn’t available one of the days, the service in the restaurant was less than sub par. We will never stay at this property again. Bathrooms are so tiny, the rooms are dated…this place needs a facelift and more employees. Disappointed for sure! The valet guys were the amazing! "
