"The Hotel is located in a wonderful environment on top of a forrest hill. The drive up through the woods on a narrow gravel road gives a serene impression and then when you come up to the hotel you see a wonderful building located i a large park overlooking the city. It was well suited a my family with small children and I would not hesitate to stay here again should I be coming to Ostrava again"

"Had a lovely stay at Hotel Maria, the staff were all lovely and welcoming, with excellent English. The location is great...10 min walk to the town square and some great pubs close by. "It's a beautifully restored building in a great location on a pedestrian street. The room was immaculate and comfortable. I could have used more pillows, coffee, kleenex and a stir stick..lol. I didn't opt for housekeeping so it was my own fault. A sink by the Nespresso machine would be nice as well. I also find it surprising that a 4* hotel has no restaurant/bar and limited reception hours. The breakfasts were as delicious as reported. "
