Perfect Villa for our family vacation
Three generations of our family spent two weeks at this beautiful villa, and it was a very special vacation. The villa, grounds and pool are maintained in perfect condition - just the right combination of old-world charm with modern conveniences. The kids loved the pool, and the adults very much enjoyed the cocktail hour in the beautiful grounds by the pool at the end of the day. We love to cook, as a family, and found everything we needed to prepare meals in the huge kitchen. We also had several dinners prepared by the staff - the welcome and traditional Tuscan dinners were delicious, the food plentiful - more than enough for some big appetites. But the highlight of our time at the villa was the daily breakfast prepared by Alice - a large selection of breakfast foods and several daily surprise specials at a very reasonable price. As good as the food was, the real treat was spending time with Alice every morning - a fascinating person who served as our unofficial tour guide, concierge, resident expert in all things Italian - providing valuable tips on each day’s planned excursions. She even helped direct one of our group to the villa on the phone - please heed her advice to use Google maps for driving directions - car GPS and Apple maps were not as accurate. Alice arranged a winery tour and lunch in Montepulciano and it is not to be missed - a memorable day. You will not be disappointed in any way by staying at this villa - enjoy - and give Alice our best.

Greatest Family Vacation of All Time!
First, I would like to thank Alice so much, who hosted us all week with a magnificent breakfast every morning with great conversation, Beatles and help with travel and tour advice and recommendations. She even made some reservations for us at restaurants and a cheese farm and wineries!! We had an incredible vacation at this villa. It is exactly as described and more beautiful in person. The architectural details and the cleanliness of the villa and the grounds were stunning! Jacopo really did an incredible job restoring this villa and updating all of the bathrooms and rooms. Every bathroom was beautiful, new and clean with excellent water pressures and heat and so much space! The views from the villa over the hilly Tuscan countryside were breathtaking! The grounds themselves around the villa with the olive orchards and wooded trails and then of course the pool and whirlpool were all immaculate, picturesque and gorgeous. I know I am ranting on, but it was so much better than we expected, and we went in with high expectations. Also, having the villa stocked with 50-100 bottles of fantastic Tuscan white, rose and red wines was also a great treat! We all drank plenty. We also did the welcome dinner and cooking class with Alice and her chef. I'm sorry but I can't remember her name. But all of the food was delicious and so much fun to eat on that enormous dining room table. Driving around Tuscany and then taking the train for day trips into Florence and Rome was easy

Amazing Experience
Our family stayed at the villa for a week. 20 of us, young kids, young adults, all the way to grandparents and great grandparents. We had an amazing time. The property is stunning, spacious, ideally located. Couldn't have asked for anything better. AND the team that works there is world class. I booked this villa because from the first email I sent, before I even booked, the team went above and beyond to help my family and I in our planning. They were so available to help throughout the whole process. I definitely recommend the daily breakfast spread that the staff can do for you. Makes life so easy! And we loved the heated pool and hot tub! I can't say enough great things about the property or the team. I hope to return one day!!

Great Villa for Big Group
We had a group of 11 adults stay for a week earlier this month. The villa was very clean, close to the highway, and plenty of space for all of your guests. The villa has a nice washer and dryer to use. There is delicious and reasonably priced wine. If you want to use the pool opt to have it heated. Bathrooms are all updated and the water pressure is excellent. Instead of shopping and cooking ourselves we opted to have our meals cooked by the villa staff. The food and service was always great. Alice, the villa coordinator set up all of our tours. We visited wineries, Tuscan towns, and a wonderful sheep farm cheese tour. She also arranged our airport/ Train pickups and drop offs. If you want an easy carefree trip to Tuscany this is your place. I think for everything the Villa staff provided the prices were reasonable . Our group had a great time. Cant wait to go back.

Amazing villa . All bedrooms have new bathrooms w showers. Very close to highway and town. . Dinners prepared by villa staff were excellent but somewhat pricey. Pool was always clean and well kept. Only issue was lots of mosquitoes , especially near pool area. . Bring bug spray !!' and purchase some citronella candles for use near pool and outdoor dining tables. Lots of outdoor and pool seating available ... highly recommend this villa for big groups (20+)

Amazing environment
This home is located in southern Tuscany, limiting with Umbria. Wonderfully upkept and extremely confortable, it has everything needed for a large group stay. We were 19 members of one family ranging in age from 6 to 76 years. The large indoor and outdoor tables allowed for unique family interactions. Thw swiming pool area was complemented by large umbrellas, many reclining chairs and tables and became the highlight to relief the very hot July summer. A ver large kitchen with 2 refrigerators helped us manage the cooking without problems. In addition, 14 rooms each with its own bathroom made getting ready for early trips, a cinch. Closeby, the town if Chiusi had everything we needed, easy to obtain. Most importantly, owner Jacoppo Baiocco and his associate Alice Pudda are truly wonderfully responsive, caring and professional. They organized and prepared a delightful birthday celebration dinner in the house, and in a separate day transfered some of our family members to the Rome airport before dawn. We cannot emphasize how well kept the property is and how everything advertised was real. Our group had a magical week in this beautiful home and for this we thank Jacoppo and Alice.

Fabulous Family Week
The Villa, its grounds and location far surpassed our expectations and was ideal for our family group of 18 adults. All bedrooms had air con and Wi-Fi and the villa is spacious enough for everyone to have their own privacy and alone time. We had three dinners with a diverse mix of dietary requirements that were all fully catered for and delicious. Jacopo and his team especially Alice are professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The location is quite secluded so cars are required but, many interesting towns and sights are an easy drive away. We had a memorable family week!

We had a fabulous time just chilling in good weather and as a base to visit Florence , Viterbo and the lovely Perugia . Great rail links . The family loved the water park at lake Trasemino . Please can we stay forever?
We are a group of family and friends who often travel together. We have stayed in beautiful villas all over the world but this villa was our absolute favorite. The pictures do not do the villa justice - our group must have looked at the photos a hundred times or more and still we were awe struck when we finally drove through the gate and stepped foot in the villa. Jacopo was very patient with our many questions and even gave us his code when we rented a car which got us a very nice discount. We had the Welcome dinner which featured lasagne with bechamel sauce which is a version none of us had ever had before and it was sort of life changing. The Traditional dinner was also very good. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is well equipped. We drank a ton of the white wine that was available at the villa - it is very good and affordable. Our loud, crazy, fun loving group agreed that our week long stay at the villa was the highlight of our vacation. None of us wanted to leave and several of our children have declared that they will be moving to Italy …permanently! If you are hesitant to book this villa, don’t be! You won’t regret it - I promise - and when you get there, tell Gino (the resident cat) that there’s a bunch of Chicagoans who miss him very much!

The Villa exceeded our expectations - with lovely surroundings and plenty of room for our five families to spread out. Its location is well suited for local outings as well as traveling north and south on the A1. Jacopo and his team are extremely professional, there to assist with all of our requests. And his home cooked dinners are not to be missed.

Really nice villa and the host was very helpful. It is quite secluded so you absolutely need a car. Suggest organising pool heating before arrival if in the colder months as it took a few days to get up to temperature. Everyone was happy with the villa.

Magic!
We were 21 people for a family reunion in Villa Febea. Now we all seem to be suffering from Tuscany Withdrawal Syndrome. Our stay was perfect in every way. The house is spacious, the pool area outstanding, the vast grounds affording good walks and magnificent views. We had a silent memorial in the lovely chapel, enjoyed yoga classes in a zen-like circled area , danced and sang in the moonlit courtyard, and spent magical moments together. Some of us visited nearby places and went wine tasting in neighboring vineyards. When our week ended, there wasn’t a dry eye at the farewell banquet. Jacopo, our host, was always available for help and advice. David, our chef , regaled us every day with Tuscan treats and homemade bread. How many times did we sneak into the kitchen, where he always left a big bowl of fruit and plates of cookies and cakes? We drove off in cars loaded with picnic bags, wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and memories we will cherish . Thank you, Villa Febea, for working magic on our family.

Fabulous stay, wonderful villa! It is perfect in so many ways. Next time, two weeks!
We were a group of family and friends including 14 adults and an 18-month-old toddler, who spent the week of August 7 at the villa. At the end of the week, no one wanted to leave! Over the past 25 years, we have rented numerous villas in Tuscany, Umbria, Sicily, and the south of France, and Villa Fabea is the best yet. Before and during the trip, Jacopo Baiocco was great to work with, quickly answering all of our inquiries. He even provided a crib and bedding for the toddler. Driving up the long, beautiful tree-lined drive, we arrived at the villa and were greeted by a Jacopo and a fluent English-speaking colleague who toured us throughout the villa, pool and neighboring building. Jacopo has thought of so many things that make this villa work for large parties. The kitchen has two electric drip coffee pots (not normally found in Italy) and two large refrigerator/freezer combinations. The ground floor bedroom and its bath are handicapped accessible (again, not normally found in Italy). The handsome, spacious bedrooms all have en suite bathrooms with hair driers. All windows have screens. In addition to the inside dining room, there are two outside dining areas and a grill, which was cleaned every morning. The beautiful pool with its numerous lounge chairs is shaded in the morning and the late afternoon, making it a great place to gather on hot August days. Our first few days topped 100 degrees, so we were grateful for the air conditioning in the villa as well. Set on a large acreage with walking paths to explore, the villa is very private. That said, it is convenient to so many things. The entrance to the A1 is only a few minutes away. We explored both the well-known hill towns of Cortona, Assisi, Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino, but also smaller, less-known towns such as Panicale. Chiusi itself was a charming surprise. Other reviews have mentioned the PAM grocery store. We also liked the Simply grocery store near the train station in Chiusi. Although smaller than the PAM, it is easier to get around and is very well stocked with a good butcher and cheese counter. The markets in Chiusi, on Monday in the new town and Tuesday in the old town, offer fresh vegetables and meat and cheese vendors. One evening we arranged through Jacopo for a cooking class to be presented at the villa. We had a pasta-making demonstration, and were able roll some of the local “pici” pasta noodles ourselves. We are planning our return.

Wonderful stay!
Party of 20, stayed for 2 weeks. Had an incredible time. So much space in the villa, plenty of room, pool is beautiful- stocked with rafts. Exceptionally clean. changed out linens after first week. Pool and grill cleaned every morning. Gated driveway, very secure. Church on grounds is beautiful. We made arrangements for a private Mass one Sunday. Air conditioning throughout villa, each bedroom has own thermostat and bathroom. Two huge refrigerators in kitchen. Covered long table outside with plenty of seating for all of us to eat dinners. We arranged to have two meals prepared: Welcome Dinner and Tuscan Dinner. They were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. Train station is 10 min away in Chiusi, very convenient. Also, 10 min in other direction is a large grocery store called PAM. Great location as we did several day trips to Montepulciano, Orvieto, Arezzo, Siena, Assisi, Perugia, Florence, Rome, Monteverdi (for Jazz music performance located beautiful hilltop in boutique hotel.) Short hike to Hot Springs in Bagni di San Filippo. Jacopo and his staff are super friendly and run a tight ship from cooking the meals, cleaning, scheduling etc. He was always available whenever I texted and quickly replied. The Villa grounds are so private and great to walk around and explore, the kids especially liked the paths on hillside behind villa leading to a little cave. Villa has 10 bedrooms. One couple stayed in Annex which is bldg behind pool for another bedroom. I cant say enough about this beautiful Villa and what a wonderful stay we had. Highly recommend for large party.

Our extended family (19 persons) was allowed to spend 7 unforgettable days in this beautiful, very well maintained and spacious property. In the very tastefully and really perfectly furnished house nothing was missing. The landlord Jacopo arranged everything perfectly and thought of everything. The house is very clean, state-of-the-art and very spacious. The luxurious property is very picturesque and always opens new impressions. It is Tuscany as one imagines it and wishes. Exceptional place for a large group
We had a wonderful family celebration at Villa Febea, in a group of up to 20 persons. Jacopo and his staff were very professional and helpful in anything we needed and even arranged for a mass in the charming capela inside the Villa. Facilities are fully updated in a historic building, very comfortable and cozy. Every room has its private bath, so large groups can do things together and still retain privacy. Region nearby has plenty of small historic towns, most off beaten paths, but worth visiting for those who love Toscana countryside.

Lovely house and grounds
A really nice comfortable house. With great large grounds and pool. Good location - it is close to the motorway, but you can’t hear it and the trees shade the view. My only issues are that the kitchen could have larger oven and hob. With 13 people it is a challenge. We also had two meals cooked - these could have been better (particularly for vegetarians) and one had no main secondi course. However if you are looking for a large, well appointed comfortable house for a large group this one is good value for money.

The Villa greatly exceeded our expectations and they were high to begin with.
This was a wonderful time in Tuscany. Our whole family, kids, grandkids, and later several friends stayed here during our time. The villa was clean and well furnished, beds very comfortable, the kitchen was modern and well equipped. There was a great wine selection in house. The pool was sparkling if a bit cool at first. We added heat for a couple of days and were fine with little ones. Air conditioning was a God send in late June heat wave. We opted for breakfast most days and had four dinners served at the villa for special occasions. Breakfast was high quality normal continental plus breakfast but fresh and comfortable. The dinners were over the top. Too much food actually in traditional Tuscan style. The staff were wonderful and the owner was on the spot every time we needed something. The location was perfect to move about central Italy, We used the train station to go to Rome and rented vans for hill town travel and wine tasting. We used the babysitter service with really good results. Kinds loved her and she was an English speaker as well. The owners even ordered car seats from Amazon IT as we had four kids under 3. What a great place to spend a family reunion. We would go back in a heart beat. Feels like we have new friends in Italy

Spectacular Villa and Vacation
This was our second vacation at one of Jacopo Baiocco Villas. We first visited Podere Baiocco two years ago and could not wait to return. When we heard of his new Villa Febea that he was restoring we jumped at the chance to stay!  The villa and grounds were impeccably kept and very private. Driving up the Italian cypress tree lined driveway added to the anticipation of seeing the incredible classic Italian villa as we rounded the corner.  This 18th century villa was beautifully restored and upgraded by the owner, who put great care and thought into each stage of the renovations. The villa has all the modern conveniences, while keeping the elegance and history of the original design. The character of this unique property is polished off with beautiful touches like the old stone well, grottos, well worn lighted paths and ancient pines and cedars. The infinity swimming pool was a highlight. There was night lighting that allowed you to enjoy the pool in the evening. There are many lounge chairs, and lots of secluded and shaded seating areas as well as an outdoor shower. Although the weather was abnormally cool for September, we were pleased at the option to pay the extra cost of heating the pool for our stay - so we could enjoy the beautiful pool all week long! In the villa itself, each of the rooms has it's own en-suite with fantastic water pressure and hot water. The accommodation was fully equipped with modern cooking facilities, washing machine, dishwasher and all the necessities. There was a number of supermarkets within a 10 minute drive.  There is even a beautiful tiny church that is part of the estate. It is steeped in history and would make an incredible destination wedding. We enjoyed the Welcome dinner on the day we arrived and the Tuscan dinner during the week, and would recommend both! The food was wonderful and abundant (as was the wine). The location was also perfect for trips to some of the most beautiful and historic towns in Italy- Siena, Pienza, Assisi, Montalcino Citta delle Pieve, and much more. These are all easy day trips from the Villa with plenty of time to get back and relax at the pool at the end of the day.    The owner and host Jacopo did not disappoint. The restoration, planning and thought put into Villa Febea was remarkable.  I would highly recommend Villa Febea or either of Jacopo's other 2 villa's listed at baioccovillas.it depending on the size of your group.

Amazing, lovingly restored villa that made a special holiday for us all to remember
The owner of Villa Febea (Jacopo) was always willing to help, from the first moment we contacted him when arranging our holiday to the very end of what was to be a fantastic holiday. We were a group of 3 children (1, 7 and 9 years) and 7 adults from 33-79 years. The villa was more than able to allow us all to spend time together comfortably and large enough to enjoy quite times walking in the lovely expansive grounds or finding a seating area to read. We have stayed in a few villas in The Tuscany/Umbrian region and all of us concluded that Villa Febea was in the best location to allow you to visit many areas of Umbria and Tuscany with ease being within 5 minutes away from the main road between Florence and Rome. Throughout our stay Jacopo was always on hand to offer help and advice which made our stay a real pleasure. Villa Febea has been lovingly restored over a period of 2 years by Jacopo to retain as much character as possible and his attention to detail provides exceptional quality. Jacopo and his staff were all very friendly when we saw them around the villa and they all took pride in their work to keep Villa Febea always looking its best. The facilities at the villa were amazing, their is everything you could want and we made good use of the kitchen equipment and BBQ preparaing for the many meals we enjoyed outside on the paved areas close to the villa throughout the day and night. The air conditioning throughout the villa made sleeping at night much more bearable given the exceptional high temperatures we experienced during our stay. The newly installed infinity swimming pool was enjoyed by all every day (and even some evenings) of the holiday to cool off from the hot Tuscan weather we enjoyed during our stay (35-40 degrees during the heatwave during our first week). The many sun loungers, chairs and parasols made sitting by the pool and admiring the views from the villa relaxing. Villa Febea is an amazing place and we all can not compliment Jacopo and his team enough for making this a holiday to remember and would like to wish them all the very best for the future. We would highly recommend staying at Villa Febea and hope one day to return to enjoy it again. Thank you Jacopo for making a really special holiday.

A wonderful and relaxing villa holiday
Myself and my family (12 people in all) enjoyed a wonderful couple of weeks at Villa Febea. The villa is quite palatial in its scale with beautiful high ceilings, marble stair case and all respectfully renovated to maintain its traditional, Tuscan architecture. Every part of the villa from the interior, the exterior, the infinity pool and the 40 acres of grounds are simply beautiful. There are options for dining both inside and outside (depending on the intensity of the sun!) and various locations around the villa to have breakfast in ether sun or shade. Jacopo was extremely helpful throughout the entire process of our holiday and is clearly very passionate about ensuring his guests are very happy with every aspect of their stay. We would all confidently recommend a holiday at Villa Fabea to anyone.

A week in a Toscan Paradise...
we spent a week in august in the Villa Febea. The house is beautiful...just renovated. The bedrooms are spacious and well decorated in a toscan style. Confortables beds and each room has her own bathroom. The kitchen is wide and has everything you can need. Around the house, a huge park with gorgeous trees ...or landscapes of olive trees ...where you can have nice walks...listening to the birds.. The huge pool is just perfect...around ...the loungers are waiting for you.. Some others places to sit down are located in the park.... Everything is done in the villa febea to make your stay perfect.... Jacopo is a perfect host...so kind with us and so reactiv when we need some informations... So are his wife and Angela...who welcome us... At the moment the gate of the villa will open....and you will take the little road that take you to the villa..up the hill...you will feel that the Tuscan way of life is starting for you... Thanks for all Jacopo!! You make that place the perfect place to relax and discover Tuscany!
