The house was roomy and charming and the location across from the water was wonderful. We enjoyed all the thoughtful touches that really made it feel like home.
Great property. Outstanding level of cleanlines, AC and all appliances perfectly working. All beds comfortable.
The only downside is the proximity to a busy and noisy gas station.
The house was clean with lovely Victorian charm, especially the beautiful wood floors. The location is convenient to the farmers market, shops, restaurants, and the LOVE chairs. It is close to the gas station so the primary bedroom is a bit noisy and bright. I think blackout curtains could help.
Our family had a wonderful vacation and we’d be happy to stay here again.
This house is adorable and comfortable, nicely decorated without having to worry about too many breakables, etc. The location is convenient to everything, walking distance from lots of shops and restaurants. The only slight drawback to that is a bit of noise from cars at night, but it wasn’t a problem. We loved everything about staying here. The house is well-equipped, and the property management is wonderful, very quick to respond to questions (like when I locked myself out!) and pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this particular house, as well as Seaside Vacations generally.
The Victorian Cottage was within walking distance to many of the Main Street activities from fine dining to thrift stores. A gas station is located across the street from the house. Light sleepers might be bothered by this, but I wasn’t.
The twin bed I slept in was very comfortable and the shower had continuous hot water. The heat lamp above the jacuzzi tub was nice. All appliances worked great.
Communication was excellent. I might book for next year depending on what weekend the Fall RoundUp is.
We had a great time and will definitely be back! Remember to bring your own toiletries—there a few things for your convenience (a few rolls of toilet paper, dish soap, a pod for the dishwasher, a bar of hand soap), but you can get whatever you need at the convenience store across the street! Be sure to get ice cream at BYOC, it's a must have in Chincoteague!
A great place to stay central to the parks and other activities. We enjoyed the house. It was Covid cleaned prior to our visit.
The listing was accurate and making the reservation was very easy.
This house is across from a very busy, noisy and bright gas station. A spotlight shines directly into the master all night. The room has cheap shades and lace curtains so the room is bright all night. A refrigeration cooling unit behind the store makes repetitive noise all night and cars drive up w radios blasting until the wee hours on weekend nights. If you came planning to cook the kitchen has ancient nasty pans and dangerously dull knives. The beds are comfortable enough, but none of the homes furniture is. We had to ask them to replace a shower curtain liner that was covered in mold. For the amount of the cleaning fees, it should be clean. I honestly would not return to this house again.
The house was well keep and no issues with anything
The only downside was that the gas station that right across the street get delivery at like 6 in the morning and they are not exactly quit . No need for alarm clock
Rental was clean and close to main Street. Only downfall is I specifically wanted this place due to the fact it had a tv in the bedroom. It did not. And I checked before i made the reservation. Also hurricane conditions limited us to 2 days at the beach.
This was our first time renting here. It was cute and comfortable and we would stay there again.
We had a great time and the process was easy and I liked the fact that I didn’t have to worry about a key to enter, just a code.
Great location, clean..everything we needed. Would recommend to others. Loved Chincoteague Island and the National Seashore!!

We had a nice time
Great location. Nice and comfortable home. Easy check in. I did notice the toaster was only working on one side, the outlets in both upstairs bathrooms did not work, and the jacuzzi tub drain was broken and difficult to drain the tub. I felt the home could have been more clean as well. I noticed toothpaste or something splashed on the walls and vanity doors in the master bathroom and the tub was not completely clean. I had to clean it before bathing my children. Overall it was a nice property and I would stay there again.

Nice house but you get some noise from the gas station across the street.
Enjoyed the house as a base of operation. Liked going to the beach.
