We had a wonderful time at the bunting house. As others stated, the house is old and has a few quirks, but we found the historic aspect charming. It had plenty of space for our family, with 4 children and 1 infant. The kitchen was well equiped and there was space in the backyard for tossing a frisbee around. We hope to return next year!

Needs some love
We knew from the listing that this property had some history and some quirks… loved the view of the bay especially at sunset, thankful we got TV to work for the college game - the entire power strip was off and we had to call the property manager for help (printed instructions for the 3 remotes would be nice). Grateful for cool evenings so we could open up to cool off the upstairs - limited a/c and broken fan not adequate. We didn’t carry our dishes to the laundry room to use the dishwasher… did appreciate surfaces for items in bathroom and bedroom and local history and decor.
To do list includes - mow the lawn, spider abatement, deep cleaning behind and under to remove dirt and spider webs, must and mold mitigation - awful for my allergies.
We will return to the islands for kayaking and seafood.

Reviewer Comments:
The view from the house was breathtaking but the house was average. The house had charm and you got what you paid for in this case. It needs handrails installed at the outside doors so it is more accessible and safe.

Reviewer Comments:
We loved the porch and dock with their stunning water views. The master bedroom was extremely comfortable with its water view and king-sized bed. The setting is quiet but close enough to town for a delightful morning walk. Our concerns were: 1) The third floor was extremely warm and hard to get to a comfortable temperature without overcooling the rest of the house, 2) For us (over sixty), having only bathrooms on the ground floor (none on second or third) proved to be a major drawback, and 3) Early in our stay the dishwasher broke and was not fixed, nor did anyone contact us. I would recommend the property to younger friends who didn't need to use the third floor bedroom and wouldn't mind the steep staircase down to the bathroom at night.

We are senior citizens. There was no bathroom on the second floor where bedrooms are. So we had to negotiate stairs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. I ended up getting a bucket to use. I nearly feel down the stairs one night. Unacceptable!
