"Tabacón is an incredible resort! The springs is much larger than you would expect, with many beautiful parts to find privacy and relaxation. The drinks are incredible and views are even better. We indulged in a couples volcanic mud massage- and it was the best massage ever! The spa is beautiful, peaceful and worth it! One thing to consider is that it is a 20minute ride to town, so you are pretty much committed to eating at the resort- which is not cheap. Each drink is $15 and meals are $20 ....

Housekeeping was very good at keeping our room clean, and they were nice enough to make towel animals for my daughter. She was very happy to come back to the room to see towel animals. "Great hotel to stay at in La Fortuna. A beautiful view of the Volcano from the back patio. It’s a smaller hotel, with a few hot springs that we never spent any time in. This was a short trip. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was very tasty and they had ok iced lattes (they were just a bit watery). The dinner menu wasn’t super impressive, but most of the dinner menus we saw in Costa Rica are not. "

"We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Lodge! Not only was the view amazing from every angle including our balcony, but also the service was OUTSTANDING! Everyone was so kind.
