"Convenient location (comes with loud music on Saturday nights pretty typical of downtown life). Big room. Very clean and in good repair (very faint smell of smoke in the room which is hard to get out). Friendly. We will stay here again."

"Kamloops was a stop off for us on our trip between Jasper and Whsitler. We chose this hotel because we were looking for a place with laundry facilities and the Vista Inn has a coin operated washer and dryer which was perfect for us. We didn’t have high expectations before our stay but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff member who greeted us was very friendly and helpful with our queries. The room was clean and the beds were very comfy. The grab and go breakfast was also a lot better than we were expecting, it’s just a small selection but totally adequate. I really enjoyed my oatmeal. There were a few negatives, the first being the rooms are very noisy, you can hear people on both sides and people’s footsteps in the room above are especially loud. It is also a motel so there is car noise and people right outside your door. The fridge, shower and bathroom fan are also very noisy. Our room door was very difficult to close properly, you had to really push hard to get it fully closed. There was also a big gap underneath it. During our stay we ate at the Indian Restaurant next door, you get 10% off with your room key, we had a great meal here and the view from inside was incredible."
