Booked 4 rooms for family stay. My first time in Chiang Rai. Hotel is close to walking street, restaurants and massage shops. Staff was super friendly, rooms were clean, noise was minimal and breakfast was wonderful with a wide selection.
We were welcomed with a refreshing glass of iced tea! And our luggage was carried to the room for us. Clean stay with spacious room. Hallways were a bit humid but that also made drying pur shoes convenient on rainy days. The breakfast buffet was also yummy and diverse.

I really like this place. Friendly staff clean and like stepping back in time. 👍
Great location and room was fresh and clean. A bit dated but had all the amenities and was centrally located only a few minute walk to the night market and the clock tower.
Excellent location, lots of shops and restaurants close by. Excellent hotel staff at the front desk. Property a little dated but great value for your $.
Hotel is a little tired, but kept in a clean condition. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast not bad, just missing some bacon! Fit our needs for the stay and close to all the local restaurants and cafes

Old, once Grand Hotel. Rooms are in good condition however bathrooms need a thorough renonvation. Public are good.
I was feeling ill from food poisoning and the staff kindly granted me a late check out.

3 nights in Chiang Rai
Nice hotel- a bit worn compared to its earlier days. The bed was horrible - too hard and with springs piercing the body all night long.
Good location and generally/ potentially quiet (except for the Sunday night when nearby discos went full blast until 2 am).

Property is need of an update. Rooms are ok and good value. Aircon is quiet. Bed is in my top 5 hardest beds to sleep on. Area is full of restaurants and bars so no issue with location although a lot of massage places around with scantily dressed girls (but that’s nothing to do with the hotel).
Staff friendly.
Cleaning not the best. Long hair on the bathroom floor.
Hotel needs an update.
No safety box in the room
Breakfast normal Asia standard. A guy from Europe of course miss cheese and bacon.
Didn’t use the pool but there is no sun
Comfortable, clean room. Bathroom could use updating. There was a kettle but no coffee or tea, etc. available. in the room. Pool was cooler than we prefer and was located in a shaded area in the middle of the building. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Can't beat the location - short walk to the night market, the Clock Tower and lots of restaurants!
The bed was extremely hard. I didn’t even know they made beds that hard, it’s as bad as sleeping on the floor. When we arrived, they gave us a tea to welcome us, which was nice. We sipped them as we walked to our room and the next morning, the glasses were full of ants. The fridge was not cold and smelled of leaking refrigerant. At that point, we were tired and grossed out so we asked to be moved. The staff were kind and accommodating. But the bed in the new room was just as hard. We were very uncomfortable and barely slept the whole time we were there
The positives are that the location is fantastic and very walkable. It is close to the night bazaar and walking street with access to lots of restaurants and shopping.
