Lovely stay in Tuscany

Roberta is a wonderful host and her home is beautiful. She made us feel as though we were part of her family, bringing us fresh eggs and wood for the fireplace. She was helpful with information about traveling to various destinations in Tuscany as well,(even though we have traveled to Tuscany before). Weather you are drinking wine by the fireplace or relaxing with a cup of coffee on the porch, it's amazing. We loved this very peaceful and relaxing home, which was in close proximity to shopping, the grocery store and all the locations we wanted to visit.

Not Just a Tuscan Farmhouse - A 5 Star, Wonderful Owner Roberta

First of all, Tuscany is beautiful and there are many properties to look at. Price range varies, of course, depending on many factors. We just (sadly) departed a very nice, quite comfortable and large apartment at a Tuscon Farmhouse, where we stayed for 7 nights. My wife and I are well traveled - Caribbean, Mexico, cruises (river and ocean) Europe & other destinations. We have traveled to Tuscany several times in the last 5 years. The scenic countryside, wonderful cuisine & incredible villages never gets old. However, with all of our traveling, including staying in B & B's, 5 star resorts & farmhouses in other regions of Tuscany, we have never experienced what the owner, Roberta did for us during our stay. We use words such as "service" and "attentiveness." This doesn't begin to describe Roberta! I wanted to take her home with us, but my wife wouldn't let me! :) First, excellent communication for renting the apartment. Upon arrival, Roberta was waiting outside for us with keys in hand. She was excited that we were visiting & we immediately felt like family (famiglia!) The apartment was perfect...Large bedroom, very large kitchen and a wonderful living room with a dining area & (my favorite,) a large wood burning fireplace, not gas. There was a good sized outdoor terrace with a table and chairs, along with a chaise lounge. The unit was bright with large windows in each room, including the bathroom! Back to Roberta...As she showed us around the apartment which is part of the families working farm (agritourism,) she had a cake / torte waiting for us in the kitchen...Very sweet of her! It was chilly in Tuscany during this late February week & I requested that Roberta keep us stocked with wood, even offering to retrieve it myself. She constantly brought us wood without asking the entire week. 2 days later, she brought us fresh eggs from her hens...A very nice touch. It was at that time that my wife became ill with coughing, sneezing, etc. Roberta took it upon herself to phone her Doctor for either an appointment or a house visit that evening. We instead went to the local hospital was given antibiotics. 2 days later, it hit me...Both with upper respiratory infections. Roberta quickly took my wife's already filled script, brought it to her pharmacy, explained the situation & brought me a script within minutes! As much as we enjoyed the farmhouse, Roberta made our week! We are friends and I look forward to staying at her farmhouse again! Grazie mille!

Venons de passer 8 jours dans ce gite totalement conforme au descriptif annoncé. Vue imprenable sur la campagne de la grande terrasse très agréable pour tous les repas, la lecture et la sieste. Agréablement surpris par le calme et la propreté de cette grande ferme tenue par la famille de Roberta. Avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse, la discrétion et les bons conseils de Roberta.
