"Barbara’s Place was an absolute gem! Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Ferry and a quick 20-minute drive to almost anywhere on the island, it’s the perfect central spot for exploring. A major highlight is its proximity to the Cup and Saucer Trail, which is a must-do and offers incredible views.
The property itself sits on the peak of a bay, and the sunset views are simply breathtaking—definitely a highlight of our stay. We were impressed by how well-equipped the place was, with some thoughtful basics provided, plus extra firewood to enjoy the outdoor fire pit.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our experience. The added bonus of a pool and hot tub, along with direct lake access, made for the perfect relaxation spots after a day of adventure. All in all, it was a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable retreat—I can’t recommend it enough!"

"Beautiful cottage, kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom on each floor, beautiful views, and the beach was perfect for fossil hunting. Todd offers fishing charters as well that was very fun and made for a great activity."
