Great place to stay!

Absolutely amazing place to stay! The room was spacious and lovely and the host Matthieu was so inviting and helpful. The breakfast was so delicious! I would highly recommend this charming Chateau!

Truly Something Special

If you're lucky enough to spend some time at the Château de Ribourdin, you'll very soon realize how special it is, and how glad you are to have done so. Our host Matthieu was incredible. He and his family have owned and run the property for generations and you can feel the love they put into it. Matthieu is unique in his kindness and willingness to go above and beyond to make one feel at home. He honestly felt like a friend. (A friend who knew exactly when to be there when you needed him and let you have space and privacy when you didn't). Thanks to him making a dinner reservation for us in town, we had one of the best meals of our trip, and woke up to a delicious selection of locally baked breads and jams that Matthieu and his family make from their garden. Our room was spectacular, and the countryside views outside even more so. Also, the town neighboring town of Auxerre was one of the most beautiful we came across on our travels, which is only a short 10 minute drive away. It is full of history, as is the Château itself (which Matthieu is more than happy to tell you about on a tour of the grounds). All I will say further, is if you want to have an authentic and truly special experience, I cannot recommend Château de Ribourdin enough. Our only regret was not staying longer, but we hope to one day return and rectify that.

An incredible place to stay

The stay was remarkable truly amazing place and Matthieu as your host is incredible with lots of knowledge and “tips” of the area The breakfast was awesome and the building itself full of history and we enjoyed it so much we stayed on longer

Séjour en amoureux au top, tout était parfait ! Personnel d une sympathie et d une gentillesse et qui n hésite pas à donner d excellents conseils. Le cadre idyllique nous a fait poser nos valises au Château de Ribourdin où vous trouverez tous les calme et la tranquillité de la campagne. Matthieu, notre hôte et son Papa sont des amoureux de leur maison et de leur région et cela se ressent. Ils nous ont été de précieux conseils lors de notre séjour que ce soit pour les randonnées, visites ou encore les restaurants et n'hésitent pas à s'occuper des réservations pour ceux qui le désirent ; une plus-value indéniable à qui souhaite visiter les petits coins de paradis des alentours de Chablis

L'accueil, le sourire , la bienveillance du propriétaire est un vrai cadeau. Le petit déjeuner est préparé avec grand soin avec des produits de qualité d'une boulangerie d'excellence. Le jardin est un havre de paix, vous rentrez dans un tableau de verdure et de fleurs....après une journée de route c'est apaisante et si agréable. Je reviendrai si l'occasion se represente.

Luxe, Calme et volupté

Au Château de Ribourdin, on sent que chaque détail, chaque objet a été choisi avec passion pour vous mettre dans un cocon de luxe, calme et volupté. Dans un cadre champêtre avec vue sur l'église du village a proximité, au milieu de la campagne, vous pouvez déconnecter du monde pendant votre séjour. Profitez de la Piscine ou du jardin en permaculture. Je n'ai pris qu'un petit déjeuner a la française , mais quel délice entre les confitures maison surprenantes et délicieuse ou le pain d'un des meilleurs boulanger de France, quel délice et avec les chaleureux conseils des propriétaires pour profiter au mieux de son séjour et des environs.

Véritable havre de paix. L’accueil est fait par le fils du propriétaire. C’est un passionné qui sait vous raconter toute la riche histoire de son domaine. Le jardin est superbement entretenu et le petit déjeuner en régal. Bravo!

Sejour vraiment au top! L'hôte est un passionné de sa région et cela se voit. Un petit petit déjeuner maison ai goût du terroir delicieux et copieux. La chalbre extrêmement proprez et les règles sanitaires tres bien respectée. Dommage que je n'y suis passée qu'une nuit.
