"Very basic accommodation- paint chipped and missing on the decor. Really in need of a spruce up. Mattresses uncomfortable and pillows too. Towels rather threadbare. It was cheap but there is cheap and cheap! Restaurant does not serve food on a Sunday. Local food is Fast food unless you go into the city. On the upside hotel staff were friendly and very helpful and the hotel is s bang next door to a supermarket and petrol station. It is ok for a stop over but nothing more. "

"The staff were very accommodating. The location was within easy walking distance of the center of the town. One thing was that the rooms were quite noisy. It's an old property, which was one thing that drew us to it, but that means you can hear footsteps upstairs, some noise from outside the room. The guests were very polite and quiet in general but that's just what you get with an older property. We asked to switch rooms to the top floor which they were able to accommodate and that was better....

Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The breakfast offered a great selection of food. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to use the outdoor pool due to the rain."
