I had to move out the same night I arrived and stayed at the Hotel Bourgogne in Macon. I did not receive check in details so had to figure it out and incorrectly entered through the main property and not the pasture next door. No A/C and no fan meant an inside temp of 30 degrees Celsius and plenty of country mosquitos ready to come in the open windows. (It would be quite nice in Spring or Fall). Finally no WiFi despite the listing and poor telephone data so I would have missed my country’s World Cup match. Despite that Evelyne keeps the place clean and very well put together - and she speaks very good French.
Didier
