We enjoyed our stay at the Chester guest house. The house was exceptionally clean. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed for cooking. Loved the location in the charming town of Chester. Be sure to eat at the Rope Loft and Kiwi Cafe. Great town for morning walks along the harbor roads and in the charming village. Very convenient to Peggy’s Cove, Mahone Bay, Lunenberg and Halifax. We would have rated the house a 5 if the beds and furniture were updated.

Great location, lovely spot in Chester. House suited our needs however some household amenities could be upgraded. Furniture a bit tired, dishware basic, coffee pot far too small for the number of people the house accommodates. BBQ had no propane and was not accessible. Some simple upgrades to lighting and beds not being on wheels, pillows and bedding would have enhanced our stay.
