"The cabin is just the right size for a couple. The high ceilings make the cabin feel roomy. The bed was comfortable and Kathy took care of anything we needed. We had access to the whole ranch and enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day, especially the longhorn calves. We cooked our meals there and had all we need. If you want to grill you’ll need to provide your own charcoal. The cabin is quiet and cozy deep in the heart of the Hill Country."

The kids were thrilled about staying in a tent. It truly was comfortable camping. The solo stove was perfect for most of our meals and the community kitchen and game area by the river were used plenty as well. Everything we needed was supplied. Great stay. Highly recommended. "

"This house was perfect for our family getaway, offering king beds for couples and excellent places for all the kiddos to sleep. The pool and lake provided plenty of activities . We rented a boat one day with access to the house from the lake, providing ease in dropping off and picking up passengers. The location in Kingsland provided a small town with a decent HEB, providing focus on family time at the house with swimming, gameroom, an outdoor space that was over the top with a great grilling area and outdoor area for dining out . The kitchen area is spacious with plenty of space for everyone to sit inside as well. Marblefalls is close by and provided shopping at antique stores and an awesome Beallls. We also went to the Longhorn caverns which was perfect for an outing with all the kiddos. Hoopers restaurant in Kingsland, which is famous for the movie location of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, provided a great meal out. You will have an amazing stay and will not be disappointed!"
